   THE BEGINNING...

With the successful debut of YG's first boy band since Big Bang, Winner, the company dropped a major bombshell that not even the YGstans knew. On August 13, YG uploaded four simple videos; 'Rainbow', 'Milk', 'Dracula' & 'Paper Heart'- mind you they were not music videos but rather lyric videos with a picture of five girls ( see picture on left. ). It wasn't confirmed by the company which of the four were title tracks. YG did confirm that indeed the four tracks debut songs are from a new girl group, 'subvert', formed 3 years prior. YG stated himself that he hand picked the four tracks to release to show the diversity of genres the girls could do. YG explained the reason for the sudden debut without warning was because he knew that the girls didn't need to be promoted ahead of time because their talents would easily show through their songs. Nothing has been revealed as to the identities of the young girls but it is believed that they will be a female counter part to label mate Winner. When asked if they were to release a music video he simply replied. 'we'll see.'
