Foreword
"Mama,where are we going?" a little boy with a scar on his left cheek asked.
"Outside",the lady answered timidly.
"Where's outside?",the boy asked with furrowed brows.
The lady didin't answered and stop walking. She look on the way leading to their town and saw glowing torches.
"Lay,listen to me!",the lady said in a resolute voice.
The little boy just looked back at her with puzzled look.
"Once I say run, you run okay?" ,the lady said in a gentle voice.
"Why?"
"Just run,understood?",the lady told the boy as tears started forming from her eyes.
"Why you crying?",the boy asked as he wipe his mother's tears.
"Nothing", replied the lady and hugged her son tightly.
As footsteps became louder,
"Now Lay,run!run!run!",he lady yelled as she pushed her child into the dark forest.
"Don't look back!",the girl shouted.
The little boy run as fast as he could not knowing what really is happening.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh",a lady shout from behind.
The boy stop running then looked back.
As he glanced at his back, he saw his mother on the ground, face drenched with blood then an old man said something and smashed his mother's head with a baseball bat. Another came, it was a girl with the same features as the old man, she took a spear and buried it to the lady's arm which caused the lady to yelp. They didn't stop, the people continues to smash her even kick her.
"Don't stop ruuning" this came out of the lady's mouth like a whisper. She used all the energy that's left on her to say those words.
The boy frozed of what he witnessed, tears run down his face and started running afraid they might do the same thing to him.
Then a girls shout can be heard from afar.
The boy heard footsteps going louder and
louder and
