I went to Kai’s house, wearing my uniform. I knocked on his door and he opened it.

“Good morning Kai!” I greeted

“Hi, good morning! What do you want?”
“Let’s go to school together. Hurry! We’re getting late.” I said while getting inside his house

“Okay, just wait me there. I will just change into uniform.” He then went to his room to change clothes while I’m waiting in his living room.

You and Kai finally arrived to the school.

Every day while you two are on the way to classroom, you and Kai are always hearing the other students whispering about you and him but you’re just ignoring it.

 

Recess time…

 “Hey Jinseok! Come with me.” Kai said then he grabbed your hand and went to the canteen.

“What is it, Jong In?” You asked him curiously then he called the short and cute guy near you.

“Jinseok-ah! Meet my new friend, Do Kyungsoo.” Kai said and you smiled at Kyungsoo.

“Hello Kyungsoo! I’m Moon Jinseok, Kai’s best friend. Nice to meet you!” You bowed

“Nice to meet you too. I’m just a transfer student here.” Kyungsoo said

“Oh, welcome here.”

“Thank you.” Kyungsoo said

 

After the recess time, Kyungsoo was introduced by your adviser.

(A/N: EXO members are your classmates, Kyungsoo just the transfer student here. And Kai is known as flirty guy in the school but you don’t care about it.)

 

Classes are done. You, Kai & Kyungsoo went to the other members of EXO.

“Hello guys! Who is he?” Chanyeol said as he pointed to Kyungsoo

“He’s Do Kyungsoo, our new friend.” Kai said. “Anyway, these are my friends.” Kai then introduced the other members of EXO to Kyungsoo.

“Welcome to our group, Kyungsoo!” Suho said and smiled

“Nice to meet you everyone!” Kyungsoo said and bowed

 

(A/N: Besides Kai, Chanyeol is your close friend too.)

 

“Chanyeol-ah! Are you free tonight? Let’s go out together.” You said and smiled

“Of course, why not? What time?”

“Aigoo! Why you’re not including me?” Kai said then he pouted

“Jong In-ah! I’m always hanging out with you and we’re just neighbourhood. Give me time to hang out with my other friends.” You said

“I know, I’m just kidding.” Kai said and you chuckled

You and Chanyeol are eating in the Japanese Restaurant.

You’re just talking to him happily while eating.

“Chanyeol-ah! I know you’re close to Kai. I will tell you something but keep this as a secret. Don’t tell this to others, just keep it to yourself. Okay?”

“Okay, what is it?” Chanyeol asked

“I love Kai.” You said, not looking at him

“What? You mean, you like Kai. You have feelings on him?”

“Yeah.. So, can you help me?”
“Sure, what kind of help?”

“Help me how to confess to him. I’m scared because what if our friendship ruins? I don’t want to happen that.” You pouted

“Don’t worry. I’ll help you. Of course, you’re my friend. So, let’s help together.” Chanyeol smiled

“Thank you very much Yeollie!” You smiled and Chanyeol smiled back

“It’s okay. I’ll help you whenever you want.”

“Jeongmal kamsahamnida oppa!”

“Okay, stop saying ‘thank you’ to me. Let’s just eat.”

[KAI’s POV]

I know Jinseok is with Chanyeol right now. It’s already 8:30PM, she’s not home yet.

I’m in her house right now. Sometimes, I’m sleeping with her here. It’s okay to her mom because her mom knows me very well and we’re friends since we’re young but Jinseok’s mom knows I like her daughter, but she’s not telling it to Jinseok because I told her to keep it.

Tonight, I will sleep here in Jinseok’s house because my parents are not home and I’m afraid to be alone in our house.

After a few minutes, someone knocked on the door and came in. I know it’s Jinseok.

“Jong In-ah! Why are you here?” She asked while yawing, obviously tired

“I will sleep here.”

“Okay. I’ll go to bed now, I’m sleepy. Good night!” She then went to her bedroom and I followed her

“What are you doing here in my room?” She asked

“What else! I told you that I will sleep here tonight.”

“Oh yeah, I forgot. Just sleep on the floor.” She said as she laid herself on the bed. What the hell! Seriously? She wants me to sleep on the floor?! Is she drunk?

“Are you drunk?” I asked her to be sure

“No, I’m not. Are you crazy? I’m not drinking alcoholic drinks. I’m just tired.” I don’t care what she said; I still laid myself beside her and stared at her closed eyes

“Why are you staring at me?” She asked, eyes closed. Oh my, how did she know that I’m staring at her?!

“What? Me? No, I’m not staring at you.” I denied

“Such a liar! I know it. It’s okay.”

“What do you mean ‘it’s okay’?” I asked her curiously

“Nothing… I just want to ask something…”

“What is it?”

“What if your friend likes you, what do you feel? Are you getting mad?”

“No. Why did you ask a question like that?” I asked her curiously

“Nothing. Good night Kai! Sweet dreams.” She said as she turned around. Now, I’m facing her back.

I don’t know what I feel. My heart is beating so fast. I really want to confess to her but I’m afraid, I don’t want to ruin our friendship.

I hugged her and closed my eyes then I kissed the back of her neck and said ‘Good night’.

[YOUR POV]

I felt Kai’s lips landed on the back of my neck. Why did he kiss me? Does he love me too? No! It’s impossible. I’m not the perfect girl for him but what’s the reason for kissing the back of my neck? Hmmmm… No! It’s just a friendship kiss. And he hugged me... He’s not hugging me every time we’re sleeping. Aigoo! Don’t think like that Jinseok! He doesn’t love you back. Go to sleep! Stop thinking about that.

 

I sighed then sleep.
