It was painful, almost unbearable, the pain of not being with the one we love.

But she had to be strong. Not for herself, being away from Jiyong is like killing her, but it’s for her baby.

She packed up her clothes and moved out from Jiyong's house few days ago and rent a small room.

Until she has a job that will secure her baby future, she can’t spend lavishly.

She doesn’t have anyone to help her. Her sister is already taking care of their little brother, and she doesn’t want to burden her.

After all, it was her problem, her responsibility. She knew that her situation is not good but she will keep her baby.

Jiyong doesn’t need to know. She will find a job, and raise the baby alone.

“Ahjushi, today is sports day. I don’t need to wear uniform,”

“Alright, where’s your sports uniform?”

“The red one.”

Jiyong went to take the said shirt and hand it over to the kid. He walked to the kitchen.

The morning went calm without the need to rush things.

Jiyong already get used to the need of waking up earlier to make breakfast and prepare Junho for school.

Pouring the milk into glass, he sighed. He’s getting more like a middle aged man nowadays, having to take care of Junho.

Youngbae doesn’t even help him! He is the one who got him this trouble. He will get back from him later, he made mental note at that.

It felt like ages since he went partying. He doesn’t even have the chance to hang out with the rest of his buddies.

“This scramble egg is tasty,” he heard Junho praising his cooking. He smiles. At least this kid knows how to appreciate his cooking.

“But my omma’s scrambles egg is tastier than this,”

Jiyong smile disappeared. He can’t believe this. How can he insult him by comparing him to his mother?

He looks at Junho and flashed a mischievous smile. He went to the fridge and pulled out his own favorite mint ice cream.

“But your omma won’t let you eat this in the morning right?

Junho dropped his spoon right away. Jiyong saw victory is in his side.

“Now, who cook the tastier scramble egg?”

“omm-, ani. Ahjushi’s tastier,”

Smart boy, Jiyong grinned and settled beside Junho. He took a spoon and joined him eating the ice cream.

“Omma said, we can’t eat ice cream early in the morning,” Junho his spoon.

“Why?”

“Coz we will get brain freeze for the whole day. Then we fell sick the next day,” Junho shoved a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth. He shook his head. Enjoying the taste of it.

You will get brain freeze for the whole day. Jiyong stopped eating. He clearly remembers someone told him this. He put down his spoon.

“That’s enough. Let’s go,” he took the ice cream container, closed the lid and put it back to the fridge. Junho is still his spoon.

Jiyong wiped Junho mouth with tissue and wait for him to put his shoes on.

He brushed Junho hair gently and they went out.

He closed the car’s door after Junho hoped in.

He’s bringing Junho along to his photoshoot today. Even though he doesn’t think the studio is the right place for a boy, plus Junho’s mother hectic schedule for him, he doesn’t have much choice. He got to work also.

“Ima heart-heart-heart-heart-heart breaker!” he stole a glance at Junho who sing along to his song on the radio.

“You like this song?” he laughs at Junho who looks like dancing to his song, with his hand flailing.

They stopped at red lights and Jiyong began to do the grasshopper dance while sitting. Junho laugh at him but still following him dancing.

Jiyong stops dancing and brushed Junho hair. The lights turn green and Jiyong hands on the steering again.

They arrived at the building and Jiyong have to answer everyone questions about Junho. He mainly refers him as his nephew, too lazy to explain the situation.

Junho is actively playing with the noonas, screaming and running. Jiyong shook his head at the sight.

He sits still, allowing the stylists to put make-up and fix his hair.

“Hyung, you here too?,” he heard Junho voice. Jiyong automatically turned his head to see who Junho referred as ‘hyung’ to. His brows furrowed.

2PM Wooyoung is hugging Junho.

“Junnie, it’s really you. Hyung doing some work here. Who are you with?,” Wooyoung darted his eyes around. He is taken aback when he saw Jiyong. He slightly bowed at Jiyong.

Jiyong can feel that the idol singer is not happy seeing him. He gets up and walked to them.

“Junho is with me.”

“Why would noona let him be with you? Where is noona?”

“Mrs.Park? She’s busy and I have to take care of Junho.”

Mrs.Park?Wooyoung look confused. Jiyong doesn’t seem to know. Junho is now happily ‘learning how to use make-up tools’ by himself.

“And why Mrs.Park shouldn’t let me taking care of Junho?”

“No, because you are busy too, right? We all busy,” Wooyoung fake a laugh. But Jiyong doesn’t seem to buy it. He can sense that there’s something wrong about this.

“I have to go now. They are waiting for me,” he walked near Junho and whisper something to him. Junho nodded and kiss Wooyoung’s cheek.

Jiyong feel slightly jealous of their relationship. He needs to ask Junho about that later.
