Description
Baekhyun is a local art curator and collector of rare, precious art. He receives more than what he bargained for when he buys an elaborate, silver mirror at an auction. Strange occurrences begin to happen after he brings the item home. His dreams that were once filled with delicate traces of rich tapestries and Victorian settees were now becoming painful nightmares. The mirror worked as a portal between two worlds: that of Baekhyun's reality and the Kingdom of Shadows. A faint, hypnotic voice sends Baekhyun into the thick, cloak of darkness from which he is to never escape. He comes across the tyrannical, Dark Prince Hale (Wu Yifan) who promises him a life of power and fortitude, if only he chooses to take the vow of The Black Dahlia. Baekhyun would forever be marked by its poisonous presence, tattooing his skin. The path to nobility is littered with thorns and thistles, and the "lamb" becomes the center of a fierce rivalry. Clansmen Talon (Park Chanyeol) fights a battle that could potentially have him banished from the kingdom and sent to The Further—the land of suffering and eternal pain. It will take all the strength that Baekhyun has to defeat Hale, but his existence will soon hang by a flimsy thread the longer that he stays in their world. With his time running out and his heart beating slow, he must lead one of the greatest battles of his life.

AUTHOR'S NOTE. Hello my lovely readers! I'm here to present you with my new supernatural fic called "The Black Dahlia". I've had this plot swimming in my head for a while, so I thought that I'd share it with you all. While the tag includes vampire, I'm here to tell you that the plot entails so much more than the typical Vampire AU that you've read in the past. Think of your greatest dream and your worst nightmare. When both of those worlds collide, that is what you'll expect to see in this story. Some warnings that I'll issue for TBD are ual content, violence, fowl language, and possible character death. If these are some themes that you find uncomfortable, I highly encourage you not to read this. I will try to rate those particular chapters and give a small note at the beginning of each.
