You're Famous? So?
Description
Prologue:
My name is Dong Sae Ri. I am sixteen, I am turning seventeen a little over a week. I'm hardly excited. I'm growing old and nothing exciting is happening in my life. I live with my parents and older brother, Dong Sae Ho, in America... away from everybody else in our family in South Korea. We use our American names, I'm Sheri, he's Shawn, I have no idea what my parents are called. See, nothing exciting.
"Sae Jin! Sae Ho! Come down here!" My mother used her loudest voice. I was surprised she was speaking Korean to us, we were used to practicing the English language. Maybe she wants us to practice Korean again.
We both ran down the stairs to the living room. "Yes/What?" Of course I was the politer one... ill-mannered brother.
"I just got a call from your Aunt, she wants to know if we could allow your cousin and 4 of his friends over..." She looked a bit guilty.
"And you said yes." I said dully. She nodded looking away.
My life is still boring. Just crowded now. Even better.
