When you're the New Girl Pt. 2/3
Chanyeol One Shots
Requested by KGirl1
You ran down the hall for probably the hundredth time that week, trying to exit the school building as fast as possible. It was still only your first week at your new school, and you already had the reputation of “the-girl-that-runs-in-the-hall-every-day.”
As usual, you were very clumsy as you ran. You were constantly running into people and receiving dirty looks from passersby, but it didn’t stop you. You did not want your pursuer to get anywhere near you.
You were almost at the exit and a wave of relief came over you and you slowed your run down to a jog. As soon as you would exit the building, your bike would be right there and you would be two blocks away in a flash.
However right as you got to the doorway, Baekhyun was entering at the same time and the two of you collided. Due to the force of the hit, the two of you tumbled and you accidentally ended up on top of him.
“Ah, Baekhyun I’m so sorry,” you said quickly, scrambling to get back on your feet. You were sure that your chaser was getting close by then, so you wanted to get out of Baekhyun’s way as fast as possible.
But before you could take another step, Baekhyun stood up and got in your way once again. “Oh, __________-ah! You know Chanyeol is looking for you again right?”
Ever since the little incident with Chanyeol, you continuously made effort to stay away from him. However he would always try to talk to you, to the point where he would chase you around the school on some occasions. His persistence really bugged you and you couldn’t understand why he wanted to talk to you so badly.
You rolled your eyes. “Yes of course I know that! Why can’t he just leave me alone!? I don’t want to talk to that , so get out of my wa-”
“__________-ah!”
You froze and knew right away that Chanyeol was just down the hall behind you. You didn’t look back and shoved Baekhyun out of your way, causing him to fall on the ground again, and sprinted to the bike racks.
Damn Baekhun, he took up too much of my time. I would usually be gone by now, you thought to yourself as you pulled your bike out of the racks. You jumped on and started riding away from the school building, unaware of Chanyeol’s whereabouts. Curious, you looked behind you to see how close he was.
CRASH!
Before you knew it, you ran into the school flag pole and flipped off your bike, skidding across the concrete. You felt instant pain on your hands and knees, knowing right away that you would be bleeding. You sat up and noticed people around you giving you pitiful looks. You pretended to examine your injuries, hiding your face from the embarrassment you felt from the event.
You examined your uniform and noticed a big hole in the jacket. You sighed and slowly pulled it off of you.
“__________! Are you okay?”
A concerned and out of breath Chanyeol crouched down beside you after finally catching up to you. He gently touched your leg to examine your wounds but you flinched and pulled away from his touch. “Don’t touch me,” you said coldly.
“Look, I’m trying to help you,” he said in an annoyed tone.
You stood up and brushed the dust off your uniform. “I don’t need your help.” You took a step towards your bike but stopped abruptly since there was strong pain on your knees. You slowly walked towards your bike, each step causing more pain to erupt in your legs.
Right as you were about to pick up your bike, you were suddenly swept off your feet. “Yah, what the heck are you doing,” you yelled.
Chanyeol threw you over his shoulder and started walking back towards the school building, leaving your bike behind. “We are getting you to the infirmary. Now.”
The serious tone in his voice startled you, so you decided not to argue with him. Now that you thought about it, you really needed to clean up those wounds from that nasty fall. You let out a loud sigh, “Even though you’re doing this I’m still not going to talk to you.”
You could feel the vibrations from Chanyeol’s chuckle but couldn’t see his face since you were facing the other way on his shoulder.
“Understood.”

“Geez __________, soon enough I’m going to have to charge you for every visit you make,” the nurse said as she came back with bandages for your wounds. “It hasn’t even been two weeks of school and you’ve already been in here 3 times. Hopefully you don’t have constant accidents like this for the rest of the year.”
You let out a nervous chuckle at the nurse’s comment. “Yeah she’s pretty clumsy so I don’t think you’ll miss her face often,” Chanyeol commented. You shot Chanyeol a glare and he smiled at your reaction.
Since he was in all of your classes, he had seen most of your mishaps. He knew that you were a klutz and would always be the first person to offer help, but you would always shoot him down and ask someone else to you to the infirmary.
“Alright, that should do it,” the nurse said as she finished wrapping bandages around your knee. “And I don’t want to see you too often in here, you hear me?”
“Yes m’am.” The nurse stood up and looked at Chanyeol, “You should probably clean up too. Your uniform is covered in blood.”
You looked at Chanyeol and noticed that the nurse was right. The way that Chanyeol carried you caused some of the blood on your knees to rub off on his shirt. The nurse opened up a cabinet and pulled out a set of clothes. “Here, change into these.”
Chanyeol smiled, “Ah, it’s ok. I have my own set of clothes in my locker.” The nurse nodded. “Alright, if you need anything else just ask. I’ll be in my office.” She walked into the room connected to the infirmary and shut the door behind her.
You remained silent, still sitting on the bed. You noticed that there were no other people in the infirmary except for you and Chanyeol, not that you were surprised since school was already over.
“You owe me,” Chanyeol suddenly broke the silence in the room. “For helping you out and kicking my hand the other day, you get to treat me to food of my choice.”
Annoyed at the fact that he brought up the y incident, you scoffed at his proposal. “I said I wasn’t going to talk to you, and I meant it.”
Chanyeol shrugged his shoulders, a mischievous smile on his face. “Well, it looks like I have no choice.” He approached you and lifted you off the bed, once again carrying you over his shoulder.
“Park Chanyeol!” Chanyeol chuckled and walked out of the infirmary with you in his arms. Where he could possibly be taking you know, you had no idea.
