The funny thing is, most people never find out they have the gene, but the people of Winel Academy do. More specifically, the headmaster does. Keeping the tabs on generations so old, some don't even exist anymore. Vernon, the headmaster's son, has always known of the magic world. Well, the positive sides of it, at least. Being a second year Spell Binder at Winel, he's met with circumstances he could never have imagined. He learns the hard way that nothing is what it seems.
