Expect the unexpected. That’s what they always say. But Park Jimin never in a million years expected that he would be falling head over heels for an idol, and a male one of that. “Why couldn’t you just have been normal and like Taeyeon or Dara or something?” his friend Taehyung always asked him and Jimin would feel the blush rushing to his cheeks. It wasn’t Jimin’s fault he had such a big crush on Suga. It was as if he couldn’t tell anyone about his addiction to the rapper’s low husky voice, or the way his hands held the microphone every time he’s on stage, or even the way his eyes lazily blinked as he read the fan’s messages in interviews. As if it was a sin to like him. A sin Jimin never learnt to deal with.

The daydreams of accidentally meeting Suga on the subway on his way to school or bumping into him on the streets of Hongdae; the way his hands automatically jotted down his lyrics while doing homework with Suga’s songs playing in his ears; the time his mom caught him staring at a poster of Suga’s new gig while they were walking down a pathway along Gangnam; they were all too embarrassing for Jimin to even admit that he took a liking to the rapper. But it was all so obvious that even his homeroom teacher knew about it.
