『  Episode 01 』 ・Jungkook’s POV・ ・Part 03・   『 Heavenly Host Elementary School East Wing Hallway 』   “Argh! This one wouldn’t budge, too. Goddamnit, what is up with this place?” Hoseok-hyung groaned out in frustration, rubbing the back of his nape while walking away from the door.   It would have been a good idea to knock it down, but we did it with the last door and that didn’t work. It wasn’t locked or anything, it simply wouldn’t budge no matter what we do. Hoseok-hyung had proceeded to the next door, gripping the hinges wit his fingers. He started to pull with all his might, veins popping out of his arms and his face scrunching, teeth gritted and groaning as he pulled, but the door remained stubborn and sat firmly on its place.   Hyung jumped away from the door and heavily sighed in defeat. This was getting us nowhere, Hoseok-hyung saw that too and walked away, going deeper into the dark hallway. I don’t know how long we’ve been in here, my phone had died a while ago and hyung didn’t brought his. We were worried for the others but as much as we want to find them, our paths were limited. We’ve encountered big holes on floors, too big to jump. Even the staircases were blocked.   When we turned a corner, we came face to face with a body, lying on a pool of blood. We walked over to it to find the neck unnaturally bent to the side, the bone poking at the skin. His eyes wide open and mouth left agape, Hoseok-hyung leaned over to slowly close them. I cleared my throat when I felt a churn in my stomach, the stench invaded my nostrils I had to walk away from it.   Hyung searched his pockets for anything useful but there was nothing, not even an object that could help us identify who this was. We both decided to leave it and walk away.   The place is crawling with corpses. The first corpse we saw was horribly murdered I instantly puked my guts out. The second one almost made me lose my sanity, luckily Hoseok-hyung slapped me back to my senses. If he wasn’t here, I just might end up like them.   We happened on a classroom. Hoseok-hyung walked over the door and held the door’s hinges. “I hope this one’s real.” He mumbled out before pulling it across, the door sliding with ease it startled Hyung and nearly fell to the floor. I was able to catch him in time. We both looked at the door frame, relieved that it was a real door and not some decoration.   『 Music Room 』   You know, if this place wasn’t so beaten up, this room would be so beatiful. I imagine it to have the walls painted in blue with white cream hinges, the floor a dark wood with a dull shine that it even glistened in the night. Instruments would be everywhere, paintings of famous composers and singers plastered on the walls and the shelves would be full of music books. Sadly, everything was covered in dust, fungi, mushrooms, or turned into rubbish.   The instruments weren’t in good shape, except for the grand piano next to the podium. It still looks intact, but it had missing keys, jammed keys, broken chords, and termites pooling around the legs and making holes.   Hoseok-hyung was rummaging around on the podium and shelves. I looked at the pictures of classical singers lined up above the chalk board. The pictures were worn out and some of their frames didn’t have a glass cover. I don’t know if it’s the dim lighting or just my eyes playing with me but it seems like they’re looking at me. Strange isn’t it? But suddenly it didn’t feel strange, like they’re really looking at me. They’re looking at me with an unconditional hatred, like they’re looking at the biggest scum to walk the earth and I deserve their hateful stares.   “Jungkook.”   My train of thoughts were broken when Hoseok-hyung called me. He was standing beside me, a hand on my shoulder. “I’ve found some candles and matches we could use.” A number of candle sticks and a box of matches rested on his left palm. “And also a key.” He unclenched the other one and showed me a silver rusted key, a tag hanging on the end with the word ‘Art Room’ embedded on it.   “Art room? Didn’t we passed by that?”   “Yeah we did.”   Hoseok-hyung shoved the key in his pocket. I grabbed a candle and a match, flicking it to life and placing the candle on top of the podium. “Just so someone knows we’re here.” I told Hoseok-hyung when he looked at me with confusion. He nodded and walked towards the door frame. I looked at the pictures one last time, their eyes still staring down at me. I scampered away, following Hoseok-hyung outside.   『 Art Room 』   Another gloomy room. Hoseok-hyung inspected the podium and the closets while I checked the clattered canvases around the room.   The first canvas was mounted on an isle with the drawing of a little girl raising a hammer over a potato.   ... No wait, that isn’t a potato. Potatoes don’t have black streaks on top, two X marks across each other, and a tongue sticking out of its suppose mouth. The girl with the hammer had triangles for teeth and its eyes were painted red.   I walked away from it and saw a canvass leaning on the wall, red paint splattered on the surface with flies flying around it.
