Foreword

 

 

  • 지못미 (ji-mot-mee): Korean slang which is a shortcut for 지겨지 못해서 미안해 (ji-kyuh-ji-mot-hae-suh-mi-yan-he), literally meaning, "I'm sorry for not being able to protect you." In colloquial Korean, this is mostly used by young people as captions or comments when uploading un-glam or unflattering pictures of people they know on SNS or social networking sites.
