Before I knew it, my mouth started moving and words just came out…
“Jae! Would you like to go drinking tonight?”
Jae’s eyes went wide, and his face somehow flushed.
‘. . . He’s going to say no… I’m such a fool.’ I thought as I only stared at him, and he stared back. 'The shock on his face was quite obvious. I knew it; I’m not even good at making friends. What am I going to do with myself? What am I going to do if he says no? It’ll be so awkward.'
“Oh! So you could spend more time with Sarang?” He asked.
“Uh… No. I thought it would just be the two of us… but if you want to bring Sarang, sure. Why not?” I said with a shrug.
Jae smiles.
‘God, he’s really pre-what is wrong with me!?’ I cut my thought before I could think of Jae being ‘that word’ again; I kept scolding myself in my head.
“Why would you want to be just us 2?” He asked in a flirty tone.
I felt my cheeks burn up and my expression changed into a bewildered kind of face. He suddenly laughs at my reaction.
“Joking, I was joking.” He says whilst chuckling. “Anyways, I think that’s a good idea. We could devise a plan while we drink.”
I started chuckling too.
“Y-yeah. That’s what I was thinking. You know? And um… we could definitely deepen our friendship sharing these kinds of moments!” I said as a poor excuse.
He only smiled. “Yeah, I’m glad I’ve got a new friend. I was starting to think nobody liked me because Sarang’s always with me.” He jokingly said.
“Well, let’s head out, Gongchan hyung!” He said while pulling
