At the age of 18, every boy and girl are taken into a lab. In that lab, the boy/girl are in front of a screen. On that screen they have the choice to change theirselves. Their features, nationality, personality,life, but they can also choose to refuse to change theirselves, but a punishment comes with it. They can remain with the same features they were born with, but have nothing else than a house and little food. OR, they can change themselves and live the life they chose on the screen. 

Another thing to mention. When you choose what you want from the screen, specialized doctors operate on you, and they turn out 99% pleased from exactly what you want. When they finish on you, your new life is starting and you're not supposed to remember your past life anymore, meaning your parents, friends, and lovers. 

But what happens with that tiny 1%? When you're not supposed to remember your past life, what if two people from both genders, remember almost everything in their past? They call it Inclination.

Maegan is a girl living in the USA. She was born Asian, but this kind of nationality is the nationality of almost every Asian nationality there is. They don't have a name for it, they're just called Asian. When Maegan turns 18, she is taken to the specialized lab where everything is specialized in the year of 2048. She chooses to be Asian again, but this time, Korean. She just doesn't want to be Asian, she wants to be Korean. She chooses features that make her look Korean, then is taken to surgery. When she wakes up, she remembers absolutlely nothing except that her new name is Jae. Lee Jae

Jong In is also turning 18. On his birthday, he is taken into the lab. Jong In the the nationality as Maegan. He's Asian, but not a specific kind. He wants to be part of an actual Asian nationality, so, he also picks to be Korean. He taken into the same procedure as Maegan and is changed to the name of Kai. Just like Maegan, he remembers nothing, but later on, he starts getting dreams...more like nightmares from his past life. It's like their telling him something that he doesn't understand.
