Hello guys! ^_^ It's May here! I apologize for the LOOOOONG hiatus; I've been extremely busy with school lately and I haven't been able to find any motivation or ideas whatsoever to continue any of my fanfics.... u_u So as for now, they will have to stay unfinished (I'm so sorry, my lovely subbies T_T). BUUUT, on the brighter side, over the couple past months, I've been able to gather some ideas for a new fanfic, which is the one you're currently viewing right now! Let's just keep our fingers crossed that I'll actually finish this one this time... Anyways, please do subscribe and stay tuned! Foreword
"Favorite flowers?" she lifted her brow at him questioningly as a smile mischiveously played on her lips. "I don't know... Lotuses?"
"Ah, the lotus. Represents purity of the heart and mind."
She picked at the grass and threw it back into the waters, not knowing how to respond nor really wanting to respond. The silence, this time, was not defeaning, strangely, because everything she had ever wanted was now in her hands and—and that was all that mattered. The crickets chriped on in pure tranquility as the couple sat side by side, breathing in the exhilarating night air.
"But it's a shame," his voice shrinked as he forcefully clenched his jaw to stop the flow of his tears.
"A shame?"
"A shame that I couldn't love you righteously. A shame that the lotus we grew has now been dyed black."
She looked over to him, furrowing her brows in confusion. His eyes locked onto hers—so securely it was as if he was deliberately forcing her gaze to stay on him—but she was unable to read him through the murkiness. Her heart began to race.
"Jin, what the hell are you talking—"
Before she could finish her sentence, she watched in complete and utter terror as a set of deathly sharp fangs emerge from the depths of the mouth of the man she loved.
