Chapter 2

*present day*

At the Jungs Household

I am just watching TV at the living room when my sister suddenly opened the door.  

“Oh God! You scared me!” I said while looking at her

“Soojung-ah! It’s the weekends why are you just lying there? Don’t you want to hang-out with your friends?”

“I’m lazy to go out.”

“You rarely hang-out with your friends now.”

“I’m just lazy unnie. And besides we see each other at school.”

“And Yul keeps asking me why are you still ignoring Aiden?”

When my sister said that name I can’t help but feel annoyed.

“Can we not talk about him?” she sat down with me

“You know I’m out of excuses for Yul Soojung.”

“Unnie I don’t want to talk about that guy.”

“Aish. I don’t get you. He didn’t do anything bad to to you right?”

“It’s just that I don’t like to hang-out with him anymore.”

“Is this about Nicole?”

“He’s got a girlfriend so he should stop hanging out with me.”

“Just because you like him and he doesn’t feel the same for you.. Soojung don’t be unfair to him.”

“Ughhh! UNNIE! I HATE YOU!”

“YAH! I’m just knocking some sense to your hard head.”

“I’m not ready to hang out with him.”

“You can’t even say his name.”

“UNNIE Just mind your boyfriend. I am okay now. I just don’t like to go out of this house too much okay.”

“Fine! But you go with me later. Affliction’s got a gig tonight!”

“WHAT! UGH! You go with Tiffany or Juhyun unnie! Or with Sunkyu oppa! I don’t like to watch them!”

“Aish Soojung what would I do to you!”

“Nothing just enjoy! Okay. I’m fine here.”

“Fine. But if you change your mind just tell me okay.”

“Okay.”

She head upstairs and I just resumed watching TV. i checked my phone and it has a message from Jinri.

Fr: Choi Jinri

Hey Soojung! Would you like to eat ice cream with me? :)

I got nothing better to do today. Well eating ice cream wouldn’t hurt right.

To: Choi Jinri

Ok. Pick me up here.

Fr: Choi Jinri

OK! Be there in 10 minutes.

I head upstairs to change my shirt.

“It’s just ice cream. This will be fine.”

I got out of my room and knocked on unnie’s.

“Unnie I’m going out. Me and Jinri will eat ice cream.” She hurriedly opened her door

“Oh! So you and Jinri are going out?”

“We’ll just eat ice cream.”

“Jinri’s a nice guy.”

“I know. He’s like a brother okay.”

“Fine have fun huh!”

“Yeah.”

I head out of the house and saw Jinri at the other side of the road.

“Soojung-ah!” he shouted

“Oh!” he run towards me “Hey.”

“Yeah. So where will we eat?”
