Baekhyun was supposed to be brought into life many, many years ago. But something went wrong and he joined the angels in the sky, happily singing with them every night. Yet something was missing from his life, something he could only yearn for a very, very long time. 

Once upon a time, far, far away, lived a little boy. He was called Chanyeol by his teachers, and Yeollie by his mother. Once, he was told that quite soon, he would be called 'big brother', as well. But that day never came: his baby brother was now playing with the angels, or so he had been told.

His mother told him that they should plant something for his baby brother: and so they did. A small bush of roses stood in the middle of their petit garden, bringing more and more flowers as they years passed. 

When Chanyeol was seven, his mother went to rest with the angels, too. He planted her a flower as well, so she would see it. It grew tall during the summer, so tall that the little boy couldn't even reach its top in the end. He was proud of it, knowing that his mother could see it from the clouds. He was sure to talk to her and his baby brother - and baby sister whom his mother had taken with her, too - every single night, so they would know that he loved them. 

A year passed quickly and little Chanyeol planted a small cherry seed near the rose-bush of his brother. His father bought a small pack of cherries a day or two ago, and he said that if they had a tree, they would be able to eat it every day. So he watered the seed and waited for it to sprout, to bring its magic to the world in the form of tiny flowers and later, fruit.

The summer passed, then the fall did as well. Winter came and Chanyeol wasn't allowed to go out. But just as the last snow melted, he spotted something amongst the grass.

"It worked!" he yelled in glee."It worked."
