So what if you just finished your first year of college and still didn't have a job. You were turning twenty and couldn't even pay off one cent of your debts with money that you earned yourself, but that was the least of your worries, so it seemed. Somehow, throughout the chaos from the beginning of the year to the end, you had managed to finish your first year of college in one piece and you were ready for summer vacation. But actually, during that time span, you must have had too much to drink one night because now, instead of standing in front of your home with your family, you were standing in front of a apartment building with your suitcase. Worst of all, you couldn't remember who you had agreed on dorming with.

Was he just plain mean? Or did he have something against you? But how could he? Last time you checked, you've only seen him once, and all you got to say to him was hello. And even after that, whenever you saw him, he always ignored you when you tried talk to him. But as the year passed by, you saw him less and less and maybe probably even possibly forgot about his existence until the beginning of summer.

You never really noticed him but for some reason when you walked into class, you immediately knew who he was. It could have been because he had a majority of his classes with you during the year, or the fact that he was the one who had blatantly sassed the professor in front of the entire class and wasn't thrown out or even anything... if anything at all. But something about that icy stare of his seemed to melt something inside of you, or maybe it was just the summer heat.
