You look up in time to see someone walking towards you. 

You lean to the side to get a better look at whoever this was. It was near midnight. Who would venture out into the cold at this hour? Aside from you, anyway.

The stranger comes closer. This person sits beside you.

You're slightly scared now. What if he or she was some sort of serial killer out to get you?

What if this person was seriously damaged and is on the brink of a breakdown?

But you're getting way over in your head.

She or he puts down the hood of the jacket.

Turns out it was your most favorite person in the world.

You smile widely and lunge at him, engulfing him in a tight hug.

He returns the hug, kissing your cheek as he does.

You've been apart since God-knows-when. He was busy with schedules, you were busy with school and other things. Above all that, both of you were just plain busy.

"You scared me out of my wits with the way you were walking towards me," you say to him, still holding onto his neck, trying not to strangle him.

"I could tell. You froze almost as soon as I sat down. I'm sorry," he pulls you closer, close enough for him to place his chin on your shoulder. His favorite spot in the whole wide world.

"You could've said something, like 'hi' or 'hey' or what. Not scare the living daylights out of me."

You pull away from him so you could look at his face. Still as handsome as ever. Still as perfect. Nothing's changed at all.

"Well why are you outside at this hour? Does your mom know you're freezing out here?"

"Eh. She's fast asleep by now. She wouldn't even know if I get hit or what."

"You shouldn't say things like that. She worries too much."

"And what about you? Shouldn't you be rehearsing or something?"

"I had a feeling I'd see you tonight."

You bury your face in his arms as you blush.

"Stop it."

"Why?"

"I miss you too much already."

He pulls away to hold your face. His touch always a welcome gesture.

"I miss you, too. You have no idea how badly I want to just leave practice and visit you."

"But that'd be wrong."

"So I just dream of you and everything's fine."

A heartwarming smile.

A silent agreement.

An unspoken promise.

"You will always be my favorite stalker, right?"

"Always."

"Forever?"

"Forever."

He then walks you to your door, giving you one last hug.

"Oppa."

"Yes?"

"I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too, but remember that I'm in your heart all the time, alright?"

"Am I always in yours?"

He exhales loudly, enough to show you he's a bit irritated.

"What a question. Of course you are!"

He kisses you once to silence whatever else you have to say.

"Now go to bed and sleep. You'll see me in your dreams."

"As you'll see me in yours."

You hug him one more time and let go.

"Forever, angel, keep that in mind." He whispers as you close the door.

"Forever. I love you," you say as the last few rays of light fade from the hallway.

"I love you." He manages to say as you close the door completely.

Both of you breathe a sigh of relief.

"She really does love me."

"He really does love me."
