Whenever people asked, I just told them that he was Jaebum’s best friend. Not mine, my neighbor’s, Jaebum’s. That was all he was ever supposed to mean to me. He was that one guy that I wish I didn’t know, but spending time with him was inevitable.

In high school, I continuously blackmailed him, threatening to spill out Jackson’s secret crush on Jaebum’s girlfriend.

In high school, Jackson made me fall for him, hard... And I couldn’t get up from it.

At Jaebum’s wedding, as I crossed paths with Jackson, I told myself that he was just Jaebum’s best man, his friend, his best friend.

At Jaebum’s wedding, as Jackson crossed paths with me, he asked me if I wanted to dance.
