F I R S T   C A L L

Sehun saw Sohee get on skype the next morning.
He had a hangover from drinking excessively. 
Sohee did, as well.

Sehun Oh (10:15:01) : can we talk?

It took Sohee a couple of minutes to reply.

Sohee (10:20:00) : sure.. oppa.

Sehun didn't know what to say. Luckily, this was behind a screen. If he had to converse with her in person; he wouldn't be able to take it.

Sehun Oh (10:21:32) : Were you alright last night? You haven't been on.
Sohee smiled at his response. 

Sohee (10:21:40) : I was just tired keke

Sehun sighed in relief. 
Sehun Oh (10:21:46) : oh that's good :)

They were in awkward silence for a while. Sehun would type a few words and erase them later. Like so:
how's your morning going?   what's up?   anything new?

Just in time, Sohee made a move.
Sohee (10:22:59) : Can we talk?

Sehun was surprised by what Sohee asked.

Sehun Oh (10:23:02) : Yea sure!

Sohee (10:23:07) : ..idk how to tell you
Sohee (10:23:09) : online.

Sehun Oh (10:23:14) : You want to call me?

Sohee's heart was racing faster. A call? Was she ready for that? They've been webcamming, but would a phone call make any difference?

Sohee (10:23:17) : that sounds better oppa! ^^

They both exchanged numbers and Sehun made the first call.

Sohee was nervous.

"Should I really answer it?"

She finally decided to answer it.

"Oppa?" 

"Oh hey Sohee."
Sohee's heart fluttered. He sounded even better on the phone. His voice made her wince every second, in a good way. She liked his voice. A lot.

"Oppa.. I don't want to sound weird or anything.. But who was that girl?"

"What girl?" "Ah! The birthday girl?"

Sohee didn't want to admit it. 
"Who is she?"

"Haha, she's just a friend!" Sehun lightly laughed.

"Just a friend?"

"Yeah, but I don't really talk to her much."

Sohee stared into mid air. She was worried for nothing.

"Oh.. really?" Sohee's frowns instantly swifted to a smile.

"Just a friend. You don't even talk to her much either.." she quietly whispered to herself.

"Sohee?"

"Eung oppa?"

"Did you call me for that..?" Sehun found it immature. Very immature and perhaps even a waste of time.
However, it was very important for Sohee.

"I did.." Sohee's voice deepened. "I'm sorry, oppa.."

"Why are you sorry?" Sehun asked.

"I feel like maybe I overreacted.."

Sehun ignored what she said, and complimented her. "Your voice is as pretty as your face."

Sohee's face turned red. "Thank you!" she tried to sound confident, but she still felt bad about 'wasting' his time.

"I dyed my hair!" Sehun smiled.
"REALLY?" Sohee was excited to hear that. "Oppa, what color is it!? Did you cut it as well? Bleaching or just dye?" Sohee swarmed Sehun with questions. That only made him laugh. He found it cute. 

"Aigoo. My Sohee is too cute."

"Oppa oppa. Answer my questions first!"

"It's platinum white! I bleached it 3 times, and toned it."

"In one day!? Daeeeeeebak. Isn't your hair fried though?"

"Haha. My hair doesn't get damaged easily. And I take care of it!" Sehun bragged.


"Oppa you should dye my hair a lighter brown!!"

"I should!"

​Both Sehun and Sohee talked on the phone for 3 continuous hours. Again, it was hair talk. They agreed to meet on a Saturday afternoon to hang out.

"So.. around 1 I'll pick you up." Sehun smiled.

"Sure oppa!" Sohee sounded excited, however she was very scared at the same time. She couldn't believe that she would actually get to meet a flower boy that has so many common interests with her.

"It was nice talking on the phone with you. I'm glad you brought it up." Sehun's calm and delightful voice made Sohee's face red everytime.
