Astraphobia

If lightning was the thing that killed your parents, wouldn't you be afraid of it?  All it took was one bad storm, and Taemin's entire life had changed. Waking up to a burning house was scary enough, the smoke filling the lungs of the 10-year and confusion of being shaken awake so late at night. His elder sister did the best she could, dragging him out of the fire while he desperately tried to go back to save his parents. She kept him from running back in and taking his own life, but Taemin still would never forgive himself for letting his parents die.

Taemin could never forget that night, the night his parents died. And ever since, thunderstorms frightened him. Frightened him so much that even as he grew and matured, he would cry into his pillow when a thunderstorm came along. Taemin lived his life in fear of them, but when he met Jongin, Jongin wouldn't let him stay afraid any longer. Jongin wanted to end Taemin's fear, and let Taemin let go of his past for good.
