Beep....Beep....Beep....

The annoying sound of the machine irritated Luhan's ears as he sat on a chair next to Minseok's bed.

They were in the hospital.

He took Minseok's hand and held it closely to his chest.

"How did we end up here?"
"Is he okay?"
Those were the only questions Luhan thought of in his mind.

His heart ached in agony as his friend laid there on the white bed almost lifeless.

"Minseok-ah..." Luhan whispered. "You'll be okay...right?" 

He noticed warm tears slowly falling down his cheek and quickly wiped it up with the sleeve of his sweater.

"W-Wake up. P-Please. Wake up and- and- tell me this is just a dream. Wake up, please..." He begged.

Silence filled the room.

Luhan took a deep breath.
His eyes were red from crying and he was slowly falling apart.

Minseok was his everything.
He always held a special spot in Luhan's heart. From the moment they met to this very moment. He always had a special spot, reserved for him, and only for him, right there.

He held his hand and sat there.

"I'll never leave, Minseok. I promise, I'll never leave." He said starting at his cold, pale face.

He clutched his friend's hand tighter as he started to feel an eerie feeling in the atmosphere in the toom.

Suddenly, Minseok's already-cold-hands started to feel even colder and his already-loose-grip slowly loosened even more.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

The machine screamed.

Luhan looked up at the monitor in terror.
The lines were straight.
Completely straight.
His breath stopped.
His heart stopped.
He was gone.

Luhan started to feel warm drips of tears flowing down from his cheeks as he gripped even tighter to Minseok's hand.

He closed his eyes and wished it was only a dream.
