Whiterose

Description

"A tourist in the waking world, never quite awake.
No kiss, the gentle word could wake me from this slumber,
till I realized that it was you who held me under."

- Florence &the Machine - Blinding.

Don't run away; Don't be shy.
We're all afraid of what's truly inside.
So if you had a chance, and you could only save one life,
Could it be me, or would it be you?

You can choose, don't feel bad.
We're all monsters in fact.

But you should know, let's not hide.
You had a choice, and so did we.

"Happily Ever After has never been so terrifying. But who are we to say they weren't in the first place?"

Foreword

{ The Invitation }

Honey coloured hair.
Blood red lips.

A fair maiden.

Park Nana was seventeen when she got invited to attend one of the most Prestigious High School in South Korea - Whiterose Academy. According to the brochure she had received along with the invitation, Whiterose is known for its strong motivation to help students in need. A school where real friendships are found, tested and strengthened,

& for True Love to blossom.

The young maiden was surprised when she received its letter, for she had no clues why Whiterose had selected her even. However, she was deeply interested in knowing a school that encourages their students to love. One thing puzzled her though - It was her late father who requested for her to attend this school, according to his late will that she had no recollection of. She rememebered his last words, and wonderd if Whiterose had any connection to him.

"Wait for him. Someday, someday.. he'll find you."

At this moment, fifteen other students were accepting the invitation as well. Some were on scholarship, some equally surprised as Nana, while some baffled at how the invitation even reached them. Whiterose was known for one thing however, and that was selecting students from all around the country based on their special talent, or skills.

Some, for knowledge.
Some, for strength.
Some, for beauty.
Others, for their heart.

Park Nana looked at the laced invitation in her hand once again. the old, vintage yet sophisticated aura shore through even though it was from the letter. The weight on the letter was heavier than she thought, but she had no inkling it was her heart that dropped. Maybe the fairytale fanatic like her was finally going to meet someone special.

Prince Charming, hopefully?

She didn't mind waiting years for him. But is a hundred years truly enough?
He proclaimed his love with a rose. Love, they were all lies.
He was willing to die for her; She danced away.
She killed her own family. Who's the wicked one now?

A/N: My first time writing a mystery fiction, not sure if it'll be good but I'm trying. I hope you can try reading it. It might not be my usual writing style, but I am a little tired of writing love and fluff. Do not plagarize! You have been warned. I do bite.

PS. This is a re-written version. Again I'm rewriting my stories because I thought this was quite badly written. Do forgive me for being a perfectionist. Hope you'll like it, xo.
