December 22nd, 2008 Seoul Ice Skating Rink

"Haeyoung ah!"

Joo Haeyoung looked up to see her parents and brother among many others in the bleachers and smiled. They waved and mouthed 'hwaiting' with their fists in the air. She pumped her fist in the air too and mouthed 'hwaiting' back.

Her besfriends, Amber and Im Jinah, were right below them cheering for her as well. Next to them was an empty seat. The oh so charming, most handsome and baozi looking guy living being on earth still hadn't arrived. She frowned and looked at the time. "If he doesn't come any sooner he'll miss my turn," she contemplated.

"You ready?" Coach Go barked, interrupting Haeyoung's thoughts.

"Yes Coach," Haeyoung saluted. "But er, Coach, isn't my dress shorter than usual?" Haeyoung awkwardly pulled the skirt of her dress down before it bounced back right up.

Coach Go shrugged. "It's okay. Show the men how y you are," she nudged Haeyoung with a smirk.

"y my ," Haeyoung muttered.

"Yes your is very y," Coach Go said sarcastically. The humor soon left Coach Go though as her brows furred. "You got this, Haeyoung ah. After you win this skating competition you'll be the representative of our town and Korea. You hear me?"

Haeyoung exhaled and nodded. The butterflies fluttered around in her stomach now, like the day when she finally worked up the courage to confess to Minseok two summers ago. The thoughts of that day automatically made her lips curve up. She looked at the bleachers again searching for her prince.

He still wasn't here. Amber and Jinah were still seated. She caught their eyes and they waved in greeting. Haeyoung smiled half-heartedly and waved back. When was this boy gonna show up?

"Get ready! Joo Haeyoung you're up in two minutes!" A staff man hollered.

Coah Go patted Haeyoung on the shoulder. "Let's go!"

Haeyoung got up from the bench, her eyes still glued to the doors waiting for Minseok to pop out.

"C'mon what are you doing," Coah Go pushed her to the rink and took off her coat. She gave Haeyoung an assuring smile before departing back to the pit.

Haeyoung's finger nails dug into her palm as she entered the huge arena. She looked around once more for her boyfriend but still he wasn't anywhere. Disappointment filled Haeyoung but she shook it off. It's okay if he wasn't there. She could do fine without him. "He'll have to make it up to me later or he ain't getting none," she thought playfully then chuckled at her own humor.

The music began and so did Haeyoung. She warmed up with a few rounds around the rink. First up was two double Axels. Easy. The crowd cheered.

Haeyoung felt like she was flying. After another round in the rink it was time for the triple Axel. She'd tried this move hundreds of time with only few success but she felt confident. She could do it. She knew she had it in her. Haeyoung skated faster, gaining speed for the jump.

The crowd was in shock. Haeyoung was confused and in pain. Why was she seeing people side ways? A group of people came running towards her and she recognized one of them. Kim Minseok, her prince charming. "He came," was the last thing she thought before everything went black.

A/N: Erhmahgawd hi. My name's Rubin- pronouned ROO-BIN not RUB-IN- sorry

substitute teachers get on my nerves now and then so yeah lol. And obviously I'm the author here. ^^

I was inspired by recently going ice skating with my cousins ( I totally btw ugh ) and a few losing memory dramas ahaha.

Don't worry, Haeyoung doesn't lose her memory like in a lot of dramas /wink. Everything contained in this story is from my head.

If any scene is similar to any other thing it's purely coincidence. Or a little cheating. LOL jk.
