Helpful notes
Consort DoHey guys, just a few helpful tips here so no one gets confused while they’re reading the story. I’m not sure how accurate these are since I’m not Chinese nor do I speak the language, but I tried :D (AKA I used Wikipedia so forgive me if they’re wrong!!)
Anyways here are a few titles and words that will be used throughout the story, I’m sure you already know a few but for those who don’t, here:
Tèjíjiàng refers to a General that belongs in a special class basically one of the highest ranks in the army.
Èrjíjiàng refers to a General in the Second class, they rank around the third in the army.
Shàngwèi refers to a Captain.
War Master is a title I used for people who have played huge roles in the war, mostly Generals in the Special ranks.
Hyung is used by a male addressing another male whom he is close to.
Sunbae means Senior and is used to refer to older people in the same profession in Korean.
Appa is the informal Korean word for father.
Umma is the informal Korean word for mother.
Baba is the informal Chinese word for father.
Before you start I would like to remind you that this story although inspired by a real war is in no way related to any events that happened and is totally inaccurate, something I purely made up to satisfy my boredom and my ‘what if –insert random person here- was in a war’ thoughts. With all this said I hope you all enjoy reading. Till next time my lovelies <3 <3 <3
