Chapter 4: Hello OCTY08!
I am so sorry I only got the time now to reply and pick up your review. I am sorry I had this retreat thing where I couldn't use the internet or mobile or anything for the whole 3 weeks. But now that I am back, I am picking up your review and crediting as soon as I finish commenting!
Thank you so much for the praises and compliments, omg, you are making me grin like an idiot.
And to the questions you asked me.
(1) Why the diary entries do not have capital letters?
A: Because it's Jiae's writing, see. So, to make it like a real diary entry, I decided to write it in a way that Jiae would've written, but not all. I would've shortened the words too, but I didn't because I thought that might be too confusing. So I did my best to put Jiae's spirit into the diary, that is why the words are not capitalised. Because the girl has inferiority complex and depression and all, so I hope that explains it?
(2) How on earth did you make my heart stop just by the first sentence of your description?
A: I don't know! I am sorry, I really do not want you to have a cardiac arrest and like not be able to finish your studies! Haha, but I am really glad that you liked it. I had no idea that it was that effective. I just thought about it and then I wrote it, orz. Sounds dumb doesn't it? But anyways, thank you, I will definitely keep your advice on never starting with But or And in mind!
And you know what. I have been traumatised by my own description especially the part where you pointed out that it didn't sound quite right nor finished. I actually thought the same thing when I wrote that but I didn't know what to do with it, so now that you pointed it out, I will work on it and keep your suggestion in mind. Thank you Octy08! I know you only read up to Chapter 3, but thank you so much for reviewing my story and TT not just that but also your promise to feature me in your rec shop. OMG, I don't know why I have that # subscribers haha. Again thank you, I'm on word limit!
