Chapter 8 – confession 

PIE POV.

That little boy can’t be Kim. Stupid, Pie. You just think too much. I didn’t ask him about it, I am afraid he will think I am silly. We came back to Phuket. Van tried to call me but I didn’t answer his call. I need my time to think about our relationship. Sometimes when I was with Kim, Yam called him. So, they still in relationship too.

I went back to the park almost every week, my job is getting busy. I often take over time to finish it.

“Pie, over time again?” Dew asked me.

“Hmmh, yeah, I need to finish the report.”

“Okay, good luck, Pie. I will go first.” Dew said and left me alone in my office.

I tried to concentrate to my work, but I can’t. I am too tired. I closed my eyes for a couple minutes, but I fell a sleep.

“Pie,pie.. Wake up..” Kim woke me up.

“Kim..”

“This is the coffee for you.” He offered me a cup of coffee.

“Thank you, I really need this. What are you doing here?” I asked him.

“Looking for you.”

“What?”

“I need a friend to talk to, so I am looking for you. Take a rest for a while, Pie.” Kim pulled my hand and took my to sat on the couch. He sat beside me. “This room is so silent,” He stood up and put his phone on my speakers, he the song. “It’s better”

“What’s wrong, Kim?” I asked him, waiting for the things that we wanted to tell me.

“Nothing. I just want to spend my time with you.” He is staring at me. I feel my heart pounding. He always knows how to counter my heart. “it’s a hard job, Pie. Don’t push yourself.” Kim continued.

“I want to do my best, Kim.”

“I know, but you looked so tired. You need a rest.”

“hmmh, maybe.”

“Let’s go to the beach with me, tomorrow? After lunch?”

“But, I can’t..”

“it’s the order from your team leader, Pie.” Kim winked at me.

He stood up and over me his hand, “What?” I asked him.

“I asked for your hand, Pie.” I gave him my hand, and he pulled me. “Listen to the song, it’s nice,” He started to dance slowly, move our body.

“I can’t dance, Kim.” I tried to refuse him.

“Just follow me, and listen to the beat.” I Followed him, started to feel relax, I put my head on his chest.

“Let me borrow your chest for a while, Kim.” I whispered.
