Prologue

It was dark, It’s already two in the morning. I was having so much fun that time.

She went to me and smiled. “ let’s drink water from the drinking fountain,” she said.

We are at the field that time where everyone found places to spread their sleeping bags to sleep during the dark.

“okey” I said, very much happy to spend time with her. We’ve been hanging out lately and done so many things together.

We’ve made sweet, painful, and memorable memories together but we’re not even close friends. You’re confused by the latter words? Just see, you’ll understand me in the future. After spending tons of time with each other in our extra curricullar activities we will then part in different ways as she goes to her group of friends and me to mine.

“ ok” I replied to her.

The sky is filled with stars. And when I say filled I’m not joking.  It’s like a river of stars, a flowing river of stars.

“ wow! Look at that!” she exclaimed

“ what!” I said

“look! The stars formed a heart”

“ ahuh! They do, I wonder what constellation is that.”

“ wow, it’s my first time spotting one. I mean really, I never even thought that there is really something like that.” Then she smiled.

“ we spotted it together, what a coincident.” I smiled then look at her.

She then looked at me too. “ Yuri, I know you can’t forget me.” Then she smiled

I really don’t know what she meant by that, but I just smiled and continued walking towards the water fountain w/ her. I looked at the sky once again. I felt happy, sad, excited, and nostalgic at the same  time.

It’s like this before when I had my camping before in grade school.

*flashback*

I went outside from our quarter and looked at the stars with Sooyoung and some of my friends. Back then I am very fascited of what’s before our eyes. We really spent a long time staying outside in that late hour talking about who we are and sharing personal things about us until we are scolded by one of the scouts. Even though we are scolded  we are still very happy. I spent the whole time with my friends giggling all the way to the our quarter.

*end of flashback*

Now I’m standing here with someone special to me. It was the same time as before. Everything is flashing back and sinking down in me. I felt nostalgia bit my bones. Before, it was like this, star-filled sky, the cold touching my skin and dew drops forming on the grass and on the leaves. But the feeling is different. I felt so happy, but I wanted to cry because at the same time I’m sad.

I’m sad because I’m happy. I wanna cry because this happiness will not be repeated again.

We can’t get the the same drop of water that fell on the river same as the time that we spent. We know that we can’t get it back again.
