Considering both groups have a school-love concept, and seven members each (I'm including Yookyung) the producers of the show decided that it would be great to get them together on the show!

It will be a group marriage, meaning A Pink and Bangtan Boys would be a married 'couple' together, but there would be stuff done in partner-marriage as well. Did that make sense? Either way, you should watch the show to see how the first ever We Got Married group marriage works out!

The leaders of the respective groups had something to say about the marriage as well

Park Chorong of A Pink: "Our members really like Bangtan Boys as a group so when we were filming the episode of our first meeting, they were seriously surprised and happy that we got to be partnered up with them. Namjoo especially really enjoys all of Bangtan's music and she's always singing their songs in our dorm. Aish, that kid. Also, when we found out that I was older than all of them, I wasn't that surprised. Looks like I'll just have to be their noona~ Keke~"

Rap Monster of Bangtan Boys: "During our first meeting, when we found out that we were going to be married to A Pink-sunbaes, Jimin nearly fainted. Haha. He's a really big fanboy. I was excited, too. I mean, I thought we were going to be partnered with another rookie group so I was really happy when I found out it was a popular group like A Pink! All of Bangtan Boys likes their songs and we've seen them on variety shows a lot and they seem cute and friendly... especially on that episode of Weekly Idol! Doni-Coni said that they were the most embarrassing group they've ever seen! Bangtan's generally like that too so we thought it would be interesting to see how our married life would end up."
