This isn't quite right.

You're not what I Remembered.

Recap:

It was time, after months of numerous life events, being disowned from the Liou family and starting his own business, he was finally ready to approach her. Here was his chance.

Looking across the dozens of people in the mall he noted that Dee had started to head towards the exit and ran towards her. “Dee!” he shouted over the noise of the mall.

Dee’s POV

Hearing someone call her name, Dee turned to see the face of the one man she hoped to forget. ‘How’d he find me?’An ominous feeling settled in as she caressed her stomach, as twins On (Peace) and Meiling (Beautiful and Delicate) began to kick profusely, to calm them down. It felt as if they knew their father was here. ‘Weird,’ Filtered through her mind as she waited. Turning slowly, she noted that nothing much had changed about her first love except that he looked exceedingly happy in this moment. Looking toward his left hand she raked her eyes over his ring less finger and wondered what he could possibly want.

Panting and half out of breath as he caught up to her, Dee noted that he didn’t appear as youthful as he once had. “What do you want James?” looking back and forth between him and the mall’s exit contemplating her next course of action.

“Before you tell me off please just listen to what-.”She couldn’t stand it anymore. Hand flying up automatically, despite the crowd they were attracting, a resounding smack echoed loudly through the chaos. Hearing his voice brought up memories she’d rather forget especially considering that she had three mouths to feed.

Staring at his dumb founded face brought a sense of satisfaction, a silent reprieve from the months of isolation and depression. “I can’t deal with this right now.” seeing the shock coating his face, she calmed down a bit.

“Please, just let m-.” again like the crack of a whip her hand descended on his face only to be caught in a slightly calloused hand. “Enough.” He whispered fiercely into her ear despite the stares or his stinging face. “Let’s discuss this outside.” Not taking no for an answer her pulled her toward the malls exit.

Snatching her hand away, once outside, she reeled back. Deciding to say what she wished she had months ago, “ you James. Move on and leave me alone, both you and your bull.” Not liking the smile that spread across his face, Dee back pedaled away but couldn’t get very far. Striding forward to catch the seemingly helpless woman, James caressed her chin and stared with an off centered air of calm about him.

“Oh, I intend to.”

Chapter 2: Ohhhkay, your story makes me want this to be a novel. It seems so chill and relaxing, yet there's conflict, that is not fully unearthed. The fact that it's so poetically formed makes you forget there's a problem and it makes you get lost in the emotion. Your writing style is different and artistic. I don't know how it will proceed, but I hope it goes well. I'll definitely wait for more. (Hope this helps for feedback)
