“Mom!” Ryosuke said. “It’s not that serious, why are you making this such a big deal? You’re only going to be gone for one week.” he protested. His mother, Ayume works at an insurance agency and has to go on a business trip for a conference meeting.
“I’m just worried.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. I‘m not your little baby anymore.” he smirked.
“I’m not worried about you, I’m worried about my house! Knowing you and your crew will cause nothing but trouble and destruction to my baby .” she said.
“Mom, so mean…” he pouted.
“And that reminds me, don’t even think about throwing a party. Our neighbors will be keeping an eye on you to make sure nothing happens. Oh, and clean the house while I‘m away. Our maid, Kimi is on vacation.”
“WHAT?!” Ryosuke shouted. Ryosuke clean? Was it possible to use those two words in the same sentence?
“You heard me mister. Now I’m off.”
She kissed Ryosuke on the cheek before saying her goodbyes. Ryosuke closes the door as she left and a cocky grin appeared on his face. One week of freedom. He thought.
