Perfecting the imperfection
Description
PERFECTING THE IMPERFECTION
♦ ♦ ♦
Be who you are, not who the world wants you to be.
In the process of finding our identity, we're going to end up lost.
Everyone is broken in one way or another, some just more broken than the rest.
Society demands impeccability and everyone is lost while trying to achieve it; they try to be what they were never meant to be and it makes them more screwed up.
It's an endless cycle .

“There are only 3 kinds of people on earth that tell the truth. A child, a drunkard and a
dying man. Which are you? ”
Son JiHye.
“I'm tired of pretending! It is wrong for me to do so? Is it wrong for me to yearn
acceptance? Is it wrong for me to yearn love? I only want to be loved, accepted and
respected. Is that even wrong? ”
Mark Tuan.
“ You either make it or break it. There are no exceptions.”

Author's note
Hello, I'm back with a slice of life story; a different genre from my usual angst stories. I would only begin this when my exams finish around end of April. I was sort of inspired by this presentation I did in English on Society; Fan_of_Karma's writing competition's prompts further helped me to develop this societal issue into a story that could convey my message . For those who read my blogs, they would know how much issues I have with our society. This is an issue I hold dearly to me, I understand the helplessness of trying to earn acceptance.
I'm a lost dreamer, we all are lost dreamers.
Let's take on the journey of the story of 3 young people, desperately hoping and trying to find their own identity in life's hierarchy.
