"Congratulations." Our boss, Chief Yang Hyun-suk patted my back, and with all feelings awash, I screamed in my head.

THE HECK?

"You get your chance to impress the big guys." he added, nodding to his follow up. "If you do well on this assignment they might make you inspector in no time." 

"But chief, really, the Philippines?" I hinted my uncertainty. "I don't even speak the language." 

"Don't worry, we've got our field workers backing you up. You'll be working alongside a Korean-Filipino senior police officer, Sandara Park; and in case you get lonely, we threw in Chae-rin and Minzy along with you." 

Threw in? Sounds like I got the short end of the stick.

"It's only for two months. Think of it as your vacation as well." 

"But I'll be working, how is that ever a vacation?" I asked. 

"Think about it this way, you'll be an undercover agent for one of Seoul's highly sought after chaebol leaders. Chances are, he's got twice the many body guards he'll ever need should an improbable attack ever occur; and I stress on improbable because the guy's as clean and as lovable as the Akdong Musicians. The only way you'll screw up is if you lose sight of his sons. From what I've heard they are as tame as their father." 

"Family Chaebols and 'clean' and 'lovable' and 'tame' aren't exactly synonymous." I sighed in defeat. 

"But good looking, nonetheless." Chief Yang smirked. "At least you've got some eyecandy to look forward to. But be careful with him; you don't want to cross chaebols and break their hearts."

"As if." I remarked, raising my newly-shaped eyebrows. Seeing as the conversation was going nowhere, I conceded. "So when do we start?"

"Tomorrow." Chief Yang answered firmly. "The Choi family leaves tomorrow for a business trip in the Philippines. We've already taken care of your identity during your stay. Take care of them." 

The Choi family, huh?
