Dong Hae sighed at the wedding invitation he just received. He was glad that she was happy but at the same time he hated that he was the one that let the girl that he loved got away. He lean against the wall as he could feel his tears rushing down his face. She was happy with the man she loves, and he should be happy for her but he couldn’t.

          A sob came out of his trembling lips as he fell down on his knees down on the ground. He didn’t care if the people around him think he was crazy. He loves her so much. And he let her go so easily. Why couldn’t he be like Kris? Dong Hae wanted to hate that boy for taking her heart away but he couldn’t. Kris was a great person and he was perfect for her.

          Suddenly he could feel something hard hit his shoulder and a shriek of a girl.

“Wargh!” A small shriek escaped from your lips.

          You could feel yourself falling down on the ground, flat on your face. The pain that you feel on your face and your knees were unbearable. You groaned, as you roll over on the ground and sat up as you rub your nose.

“Ow…” You said,

          What in the world just happened?! One minute you were happily walking home from your work and then, you were practically kissing the ground. You turn your head abruptly at the thing that made you fell down. And it was a guy. A cute guy.

          He had tears in his eyes and he continues to stare at you. The staring contest didn’t last long when thunder was grumbling above you. He had the most beautiful eyes that you had ever seen. Deep, dark brown eyes that were filled with tears and hurt, sadness and pain. You had this thing that you could easily fall in love with guys who cried. It was as if he can make you feel the pain that he went through those alluring eyes.

“Are you okay?” Dong Hae manages to choke out,

“Y-yeah…I think so…” You stuttered as you could feel yourself blushing.

          Dong Hae couldn’t keep his eyes off you. There was something about you that attracted him, like a magnet. He stood up immediately and helped you up. Then, he tensed up as he saw the red liquid drip from your nose.

“O-Omo…I’m really really sorry, please forgive me..” Dong Hae said as he took out his hankerchief from his pocket.

          Your eyebrows furrowed and then, he leaned closer. He wasn’t gonna kiss you, right? If he would kiss you, you would be on top of the world! But as you closed your eyes, waiting for his lips but then… you could feel a soft fabric, wiping just above your lips.

You opened your eyes just to find him right in front of your face. You almost jump back but somehow, you like that the fact that his lips were inches away from yours. You could feel your heartbeat fastened it’s pace.

“You’re bleeding…I’m so sorry.” He said as he continues to wipe the blood off your nose,

“No, It’s okay.. It doesn’t hurt at all, see?” You said as you pat your nose,

          A pang of pain struck your nose and now you were sure that your nose was broken. You pressed a hand on your nose as your other hand rested on your knee, bending over.

“Appasso… (It hurts)” You breathed and you could hear him chuckled,

          You look up at him and he was smiling with red, puffy eyes. And you could only smile back at him. It was weird that one minute ago, he was crying over someone he loves, and now he’s smiling because of a stranger.

“Can I bring you to the clinic? It is my fault..” He offered,

“A-aniya! It’s okay!” You instantly rejected.

          Little fact about you; you were afraid of doctors. You didn’t know why but you extremely terrified of doctors. You came to realize that doctors does not make anything better, they would only make it worse. You watch as he took a step forward, you couldn’t brush the feeling that you had seen him around before. You swore you know this guy…

“Have we ever met before…?” You said as he took your hand,

“You may have seen me before..But I have never met you before..” He said, quietly.

          It was sort of disappointing that he didn’t know you but you were sure that you had met him before…You just couldn’t put a finger on it.. He put the handkerchief in your palm and squeeze your hand.

“But I  would like to know you..” He said, smiling.

          You look up at him, a smile playing on your lips. He was still holding your hand, and as you look down on it, he pulled back. You liked his touch. Soft and gentle. You smiled as your eyes met with his. And that was when the most amazing feeling erupted in your heart. You swear that you could see sparks fly as his lips curled up in a smile.

“I’m Dong Hae.” He introduced himself.

          And that was the moment you broke out off your trancelike stare. It sounded as if there was glass smashed against the floor the moment he said his name. Your eyes widened as your jaw dropped open,

“No …” You gasped and he chuckled,

          No . You had definitely seen his face, and it was everywhere. On tv, posters, magazines, you name it and he’s there. You covered your mouth as you could feel yourself wanting to scream your lungs out. Keep it cool, _____. You don’t want him to think that you’re a maniac, you thought as you closed your mouth.

“I’m ________...” You said as you shook his hand.

          You couldn’t believe your luck. You are shaking hands with an idol! Dong Hae from Super Junior! You smiled gleefully.

“Nice to meet you,_______.”

          Oh how good it was to hear his angelic voice saying your name for the first time.

“Yeah…Nice to meet you too!” You almost squealed at the end of the sentence,

          And Dong Hae chuckled. He would usually find it irritating or annoying that every girl he met was a fan of his. Not that he didn’t like those girls were his fans, but it was just better to know someone who would just stop going after him just because of his looks and his popularity and not because they likes the real him.

But you, you were different. He was well aware that you were trying to hold in your excitement. And everything that he does to you, little did he know, that it always made you blushed. And he noticed that you almost squealed, somehow, for the first time, he found it cute. And adorable. He just continues to look at you,

“I-I should be going,” you said, not looking away from him.

“Do you have to? I mean, um…you’re still bleeding..And it’s my fault… How can I make it up to you?” Dong Hae asked as he cocked his head to his side. This was his chance to see if you really like him..

“You should go to a clinic…It looks pretty bad, I’ll give you some money to pay for it..How much do you need?” Dong Hae offered and he took out his wallet, ready to take out some money for you,

“No, no..It’s okay. I don’t need any money from you, I’ll just put some ice and it’ll be better…Thanks for the offer, though.” You said as you started to walk away,

          Somehow, you were a little offended. Did you dress like a beggar? He may be an idol and rich, and you knew that so well. He didn’t need to show off his wealth. Money can’t fix everything. You rolled your eyes at him. What does he think, that you were a gold digger? You almost scoffed as you turn around, ready to leave, but his hand grasped your arm,

“I’m sorry…Did I offended you? I’m sorry, that wasn’t my intention…” Dong Hae said, in a pleading tone.

          Great, there goes his first good impression. He sighed. But at the same time, he was kinda happy that you weren’t one of those girls. It was obvious to him, that money didn’t matter to you. You were definitely different from the other girls. You somehow reminded him of the girl he used to love.

“Yeah…It’s okay,” You said, nonchalantly.

“Urm…Can I just take you out for a lunch or maybe dinner? Or even just a drink? I really need to make it up to you, I just offended you and I broke you nose…Please?” Dong Hae said,

          Inside, you were jumping up and down in excitement but on the surface, you pretended to think for a long time. You would just say ‘yes’ to him but ‘playing hard to get’ was what you always like. You stared at him for a while before nodding your head, slowly. You watch as he smiled,

“Great…Urm, can you just give me your number? So that I can call you?” He said, his eyes glued to yours.

          You look into your handbag, searching for a pen but…you only found a lipstick…You took out the red lipstick and showed it to him. Dong Hae chuckled, he rolled up his sleeve and showed his white pale arm to you. You opened the cap of the red lipstick and started to write down your number on his arm.

          When you were done, you look up at him and smiled. Dong Hae somehow was hypnotized with your smile. It was the one thing he had always like about you in the last 20 minutes. You put your lipstick back in your handbag and smiled up at him,

“Don’t forget to call me,” You said as you walked away from him, backwards.

“I won’t.” He replied, watching you as you walk away from him.

          It was amazing how just before you showed up, he was crying because the girl he loves was getting married to another guy and now, he was smiling like an idiot because you, had practically fell for him. He smiled at his arm, looking at your phone number written by using a red lipstick. He was sure that he could get over her in just minutes after you came in his life.

          Dong Hae called you that night and instantly asked you out for a dinner tomorrow night. And you agreed. When that dinner finally came, he took you to a simple restaurant. You could say that, so far, it was the best dinner you had ever had. Somehow, for Dong Hae, it was so easy for him to talk about everything to you. Including that he just broke up with a girl because he lets her get re-married with her ex-husband.

He admitted to you, that it was hard for him to let her go but if she was happy then, he was too. You couldn’t stop yourself from not falling for him more and more. But you hated how he always talks about the girl, you knew very well that he had just gone through a break up and he loves that girl. He even told you that you somehow reminded him of that girl.

And you hated that, too. Because it means that he didn’t see you as you. He was only seeing you as the girl that he used to love, the other girl. But you didn’t want to just leave him just because he sees you as the girl, so you stayed with him. He kept on talking and talking and you were there to listen to his stories. He definitely had so many great experiences, travelling around the world, singing and dancing.

He was a great storyteller. After the dinner, you and him constantly text and meet with each other. It had gotten to that one point where he didn’t want to be friends with you anymore. He wanted to be more than that. And Dong Hae of Super Junior is your boyfriend.

          You sighed again as you look again at the mirror. You looked horrible. The pink mini-dress  made you look fat. And your hair looked like it was a bee’s hive, and don’t even mention about your make-up, everything was simply horrible. Dong Hae had asked you to come to his friend’s wedding event. And you didn’t have anything to do, so you agreed to go with him. And that is how you look horrible now.

          You groaned as you sat down on your bed. Dong Hae would be here to pick you up sooner or later and you look like a comple-

Ding Dong!

          You cursed under your breath as you heard the doorbell rang. You took one last look in the mirror even if you knew you looked horrible, then grab your purse and walk to the door. You took a deep breath and opened the door to see Dong Hae looked handsome in his tux. Your jaw dropped open, it wasn’t that you had never saw him in tux, it’s just that he looked way better than you, too better. Here he is, looking like Prince Charming and you were the evil step-sister…Or a witch..

“Wow..” Dong Hae breathed as he stare at you, up and down.

“Wow yourself…I look-”

“AMAZING!” Dong Hae exclaimed, cutting you off.

          His mouth were wide open and you laughed. You always loved how he always made you feel beautiful even if you knew you look horrible. You pat his cheek as you kissed his other side of cheek,

“Close your mouth if you don’t want to let a fly get into it,” You said and he chuckled before taking your hand in his, leading you to the car.

          You regretted that you had come to the wedding looking like a clown. You weren’t worried that you looked like a witch or a clown, but you were afraid that you embarrassed Dong Hae but he didn’t seem like he didn’t even notice the stares that you received. You were sitting at the table as you Dong Hae looked around as if he was looking for someone.

          You looked around, and almost all of them were singers, actor or actresses. You had met a few of SM’s famous band like EXO, SNSD, f(x) and of course Super Junior. Dong Hae introduced you to them , himself. You saw Su Ho and a few of EXO members waving their hands at you and you waved back. You turn to look at Dong Hae but he wasn’t anywhere near you. You turned to Eun Hyuk,

“Hey, have you seen Dong Hae?” you asked,

“I think he went to the receptionist,” He said as he pointed to the entrance,

          You nodded your head and smiled at him before excusing yourself. You walk towards the receptionist but Dong Hae was not in sight. You walk out of the room and there was no one. But as you heard the song started to play in the room, you were about to walk back to the wedding until you heard hushed voices just around the corner.

You followed the voices and it led you to a small room just near the washroom. The door was opened slightly and you saw Dong Hae in the room. You smiled and was about to walk towards him but you stopped dead in your tracks when you heard a woman’s voice.

“You know, I kinda like your new girlfriend. She’s beautiful,” The woman said, and you waited for Dong Hae’s response but only a sigh from him,

“Yeah…But…I can’t love her like I love you..I miss you..” Dong Hae said,

          You froze at his words. You remembered when Dong Hae first told you that he loves you…And you were so stupid to believe his sweet words…Your heart broke at his words…But as the sadness continues to broke your heart, anger took over you…You pushed the door open wider.

“So, you used me to get her back…?” You gritted through your clenched teeth.

          Dong Hae’s eyes widen at the sight of you. He never planned for you to show up and he never plan any of this to get the girl he used to love.

“________-ah...” Dong Hae said as he approaches you.

          You push his arms away as an angry tear roll down your cheeks. You gave him a solid glare before walking away from him. When you finally thought that you could marry someone who really loves you, it crushed your hopes again…You loved Dong Hae…and he used you…Tears falls down as you walk away from him.
