It Was All A Dream

Description

Desiree can't help but wonder if the dream she had could come true. She accompanies her sister to Korea as a painters assistant. Commissioned to paint personal portraits for YG's Boss. Recently introduced to kpop, she wasn't so educated on the scene. But she did know of it. A shy tomboy, she didn't expect to arch the eye of Taeyang. Both shy and prone to little understanding of what love is, they slowly start to learn from each other. Will either of them let down their walls?

Foreword

remember having strange vivid dreams. Dreams of yellows, feeling the warm breeze against my cheek. Smelling the calming scent of lavender against the strangers shirt. Hearing the words and his warm breath against my ear, when he whispered the words I've never forgotten.  "You're mine right?"  And I've never forgetting the answer I gave.  I nodded, "Yes."  There was was so much to interpret from this dream, that I never let go of. It stuck with me for two years. I'd come to the conclusion that this was my dream guy. As silly as it sounded, even though I didn't see his face. I felt him, smelled his scent. To me he was real.  I inhaled, holding in a sigh. I wished I didn't gave to let it go, because it was real for the moment I couldn't breath. But, it was humanly impossible and my breath escaped like a balloon, making a sputtering noise. I could hear my sister giggling next to me.  "What was that all about?" She laughed.  "Just nervous." I said, gripping the armrests of the jumbo jet.  It was still being loaded with passengers and had about 20 minutes till take off.  My sister, T and I were off to Korea. Although we were both artists, my sister was much more successful as far as visual and fine artistry. A few of her paintings were sold to a music mogul. I guess they were hanging in his home, where they were loved by others and by request, she was commissioned to do a family portrait, as well as hold a gallery viewing. All expenses paid and a friend or family member to accompany her. Me.  I was honored, and I was very proud of my little sister, she worked hard. I knew a little about Korean culture. Loved the food, loved the fashion, love the language. As far as the music scene, I was a new kpop fan, and was very rusty on the most popular groups. I'd skimmed them on my iphone as I was waiting. Trying to calm myself. T reached in her purse and pulled a K pop magazine out and put it on my lap.  "Try this," she said. I looked at her quizzically, "Why do you have this in your purse?"  "Well, the folks I'm working with, have  to do with the music scene. I had to bone up a little too." I flipped the pages. It was all in Korean, with acception of a few names of the bands, single artists, the big wigs of the industry. Lots of cute hearts, cute expressions, and handsome guys. My stomach turned.  "Wonder if all the guys look this good?" I laughed, jokingly.
