Mir's POV

I went in to see him he was sick so I had to use a mask before seeing him walking in I blinkd seeing his face

Sighing as I seen he was asleep I sat the food down fixing his covers with a small smile when I looked back up to him his eyes were opened I took a few steps back because his face wasnt a happy one 

Bowing at 90 to be repectful when I looked back at him he had a small smile patting the seat next to the bed

"How have you been son?" He asked me as I sat down 

He sat up some to sip the drink mother told me to bring as well 

"I been good appa" I said a bit confused

Wondering when he would hit me across the face for running away at such a young age he grabbed his food 

"I hope you like it father I cooked this time to let mother rest some" I told him he took a bite with a small smile

I was wondering if the sick would have just for gotten the bad and wanted to have good or if this was an act for me to carry on the family tration 

But thats not why I ran away I ran away because I had to marry someone and not see my family again as they would get paid and I would live the good life 

With a small sigh from me my father stopped eating and sat up some more

"How has life been up in the states?" he asked looking at me setting his plate down

"Ah it's going great I found a good job where im making alot of money and I been sending some to you huys after I bought my condo and stuff to help me" I said smiling a little proud for someone from a farm to do so much in so little time

But then thats when it came the slap I been waiting for still looking to the side my face went from being hit 

"You leave your poor faimly behind and send us all pitty money!?" He yelled throwing the papers at me with the checks 

I looked at him still smiling

"I wasnt going to marry at 16 father I was not going to ruin my life because of you" I said with the smile still on my face 

He tried hitting me again but I got his hand putting it to his side

"Father you shouldnt get to worked up it wont help with the condestion your in" I told him with a calm voice

"You would have ruled Korea you were going to marry the princess!" He yelled at me 

I stood up bowing again

"Im sorry for waking you but finish eating ill visit you again before I leave for the states again" I told him walking out 

My face was still read when I came out my mother and sister stood Amber was tearing up

"H-He hit you again didnt he?" She asked as I nodded Joon looked up at us all 

I bowed walking to my mother and Amber

"Ill be going now I cant stay when he's like this" I said as they nodded

"Oppa ill visit the hotel your at after school" She said hugging me

Joon looked at me as I went out the door he followed I heard he thanked them for the meal

"Mir what just happened?" He asked as I shook my head

"ani nothing happened" I told him he grabbed my arm

"Come on ill take you to a hotel you need to go to" I nodded getting in the car with him again
