“Wookie let’s play street fighter with me!”
The door banged against the wall, creating a loud thud as it opened, showing a 10 years old kid with brown hair and big doe eyes, a PSP was in his hand. Excitement was written all over his face.
“I don’t want to! I just want to draw now, Kyuhyunie!”
Kyuhyun pouted when he heard Ryeowook’s answer. His mother bought him new PSP and he really wanted to play it with the person he likes, his cute neighbor, Kim Ryeowook.
“You are no fun! Drawing is boring!” Kyuhyun stomped his foot and sulking as he left the room. He didn’t understand why Ryeowook always rejected to play with him.
“Kyuhyun-ah, what’s with the grunmpy face?”
Kyuhyun looked up and met with pair of cute yet sharp almond shaped eyes. It was Jongwoon, Ryeowook’s older brother. He was staring at Kyuhyun curiously, wondering what made the kid very grumpy.
“Ryeowook doesn’t want to play street fighter with me.” The brunette huffed and crossed his arms, a frown was visible on his face.
Jongwoon chuckled. “Okay, hyung will play with you then. I am gonna put my turtle in the tank first, okay?”
Kyuhyun’s expression brightened up instantly and he nodded his head eagerly at Jongwoon’s suggestion. At least he wouldn’t have to play alone.
“Ah if only Ryeowook is like you, hyung.” He muttered as he pressed some buttons on his PSP.
Kyuhyun clearly missed the falling expression on Jongwoon’s face, oblivious to the fact that he just made Jongwoon sad.
7 years later
“Wookie, do you want to go to school with me?” Kyuhyun eyed Ryeowook expectantly. He was now at Kim’s family house, having breakfast with Ryeowook and Jongwoon before going to school. It became a habit since they were kids, since they spent a lot of times together and the parents already treated all of them as family.
“I want to Kyuhyun, but how about Jongwoon hyung?” Ryeowook bit on his toast calmly.
“It’s okay. I can take bus as usual. I think Kyuhyun wants to try his new motorcycle, Wookie. Just go with him.” Jongwoon glanced at Kyuhyun who showed big puppy eyes to his younger brother.
Ryeowook sighed. “Okay.”
Kyuhyun almost jumped out of joy from the chair when Ryeowook nodded his head.
“Yeay! Thank you Jongwoon hyung. I promise next time I will give you a ride with my motorcycle. Come on Wookie!” The brunette dragged Ryeowook outside excitedly, leaving Jongwoon alone at dining room.
“Be careful.” Jongwoon whispered to no one. A sad smile slowly worked it’s way across his face. He had admitted that he was really good at masking his emotion. Jongwoon had been in love with Kyuhyun since they were young. It was not a child love for sure since as they grew up, his affection towards Kyuhyun was getting stronger. Unfortunately the brunette liked his brother better. Kyuhyun poured all his attention to his brother, even when he was with Jongwoon, Kyuhyun would always talk about Ryeowook. He was nothing more than substitute when Ryeowook refused to play with Kyuhyun. Strangely, it was enough for Jongwoon. It did make him happy, spending time with Kyuhyun. He was aware about the brunette’s feeling to Ryeowook so he would keep his feeling to himself, no one needed to know.
Jongwoon arrived at school and spotted Kyuhyun’s motorcycle at the parking area. Jongwoon chuckled when he thought about Kyuhyun’s excited face this morning. It was worth it, he thought.
“Why are you laughing alone Jongwoonie? That’s kinda scary you know.”
Jongwoon looked around and saw his best friend, Donghae, stared at him with amused smile plastered on his handsome face. Jongwoon shook his head and walked towards his friend.
“Nothing Hae~ah. Just me being weird as usual.”
Donghae laughed and clung one of his arm around Jongwoon’s shoulder.
“I saw Wookie with Kyuhyun together. Did they leave you?”
“Huh? No. It’s just Kyu is too excited to ride his new motorbike.” Jongwoon smiled. “And Ryeowook is the lucky one to be the first passenger!”
Donghae eyed his friend for a while and patted him on the head softly. He knew about his feeling towards Kyuhyun. “You should just confess to him instead of keep your feeling Jongwoonie.”
“You know who he loves, right… Donghae?” Jongwoon looked away, he always avoided this type conversation because his friend would always encourage him to confess. How that was possible when Kyuhyun’s heart was for anyone else.
“But it’s better instead of locking it inside your heart. You will know if you have a chance or not at the end.”
Jongwoon kept silent as they reached their class.
“Let’s just not talk about it okay?”
Donghae could only sigh at Jongwoon’s words.

It was bright Sunday afternoon and Jongwoon was about to go out to get fresh air but as he passed living room, he found a sulky Kyuhyun sitting with frown on his face. He didn’t need to be told about the reason why the younger was sulking like that. Ryeowook had went out since the morning without telling anyone, including himself.
“Hey Kyunnie.” Jongwoon poked the younger cheek. “What’s with your grumpy face?” It felt like de javu, Jongwoon thought as he smiled.
“Stop it hyung, I am in foul mood.”
Jongwoon giggled and sat down beside the brunette.
“Hey, Wookie didn’t tell me where he will go. Beside, what’s the use of you sulking when he’s pr
