Raelyn Nakamura is a half American, half Japanese aspiring actress/model, who is also in a band with her brother and 2 of her brother's friends. Her band's musical inspiration is The Gazette, and when she gets the chance to be in one of The Gazette's music videos, she instantly falls head over heels for their lead guitarist, Uruha, and uses every chance she can get to .

Jackson Nakamura is Raelyn's older brother. He formed a rock band with 3 of his buddies in high school, but a couple years after graduation, their singer got married and left the band. Not wanting to break up the band, Jackson turned to his little sister to be the band's new singer.

Takashima Kouyou, also known as Uruha, is the lead guitarist for the famous visual kei band The Gazette. He meets Raelyn at a meeting for The Gazette's new music video, one where all the members are paired up with different girls; Raelyn being the lucky girl who was chosen for Uruha. Uruha soon develops a crush on Raelyn, though he keeps himself in denial. But after a while he realizes that the more he sees Raelyn, the harder it is for him to keep his true feelings a secret.

Ruki (vocals), Reita (bass), Aoi (guitar), and Kai (drums) are the other members of The Gazette.
