I still remember how she looked like that day.

Clad in a white dress, she walked like a turtle, holding on to Joonmyeon for support as she trudged the grassy path. It was a bit windy that day, so some of her hair waved like little flags in the air. Joonmyeon carefully tucked her hair at the back of her ears, and I got a view of her face. She looked helpless and vulnerable. Her pale skin looked paler, as if it was drained of blood. Her eyes were already swollen and dried up; there were no more tears to shed. It was like she suddenly aged five years older, when only three days had passed. She was not ugly, only stressed and depressed. But despite her appearance, she's still that pretty girl I used to secretly admire a year ago.

I saw a lot of people. Old and new friends, classmates from long time ago, teachers. The members of the soccer team were also there.

What an unlikely reunion it was.

I slowly looked at the casket as it was lowered in the ground. My father took a deep bow, took some earth, and cast it upon the coffin.

I asked Michael not to let it rain, because I don't want the rain to add to the scornful and mournful mood. Rainy weather has made a lot of people blue and gloomy.

"Farewell, our beloved Minseok."

Hi! I prompted to write this story after having a bad case of LSS over Standing Egg's song entitled "시간이 달라서 (Because of Different Time)". The song's melody was very good, yet the lyrics are so sad. I'll try not make it super angsty, but more like a slice-of-life type of story.

This was also inspired by one of my favorite books today, "The Catastrophic History of You and Me" by Jess Rothernberg. If you guys are into young adult romance novels, this is definitely a good read!

This will be twoshot (or three? ugh I don't know, it depends on how everything flows---probably a short story?) story so please anticipate for it!
