The 11th Doctor lands in a distant-future Seoul to find out that the city has been taken over by a profitable alternate reality technology that is being used by the population to escape from the pollution that is real life. He soon discovers that the technology is killing off its occupants, one by one, thanks to an undetectable virus. Teaming up with resistance leader, Chaerin Lee, they insert themselves into the system to take down the virus and hopefully save the city from becoming too dependent on machines.
