"Stop with your silly acts, you freak!" Jieun grabbed both his arms and threw him on the sofa, exactly the way she handled his nonsense all the time.

"Stop," she barely breathed, her eyes fixated on her red nike shoes. "Should I make a run for it?"

"What's wrong? We've already come this far, Eun. Are you afraid he'll see us together? Where's that Eun who's fearless?"

"Uh, I'm pretty sure this piece belongs here."

"No, this is my jigsaw and I've done like a thousand since I was three! Beat that you little er!" he sniggered and flipped the half pieced up jigsaw, causing all the little puzzle pieces to scatter all over the floor. "GET. OUT." she fumed.

"I know this is sudden, Ji Eun. We've been friends for this long... But-"

"No buts on this matter. I think I've said enough. I mean, like you said. We've been friends for so long, how can you expect me to see you in a different light?"
