The Brightest Star
Description
For centuries, humans have noticed that millions of stars share the sky with the moon and planets. We've studied all that we can, conjuring up mysteries and solving them as we go. Still, many mysteries are left unanswered. Even kids have conjured up their own questions and beliefs about the stars. Ever heard of the poem, "Starlight, Star Bright"? Let me refresh your memory;
Starlight star bright,
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
Although most kids soon find out that their wishes don't come true and stop believing in wishing on stars, curiosity never leaves them. Curiosity is just a natural thing to humans. Seeing a shooting star and making a wish never seems to work either, but what about finding the brightest star on the night of a new moon and making a wish? Seems impossible right? Out of the billions of stars in the sky, what are the chances of finding the right one and making a wish on it? What are the chances of the wish coming true? It may seem impossible, but as proven over many years of the human existence, love can be very powerful, and can make you do even the craziest things...

Author's Note:
A pretty long description, but I hope it's interesting enough to spark an interest in you for this story. If it does, I hope you'll subscribe and enjoy reading it! (Yes, this is a oneshot, but depending on you guys' responses, there might be a sequel.)
The main character was decided in a poll posted before writing this. Hongbin (4 votes), Xiumin (3 votes), Chanyeol (10 votes), Jr. of GOT7 (13 votes), and J-Hope (47 votes)! Obviously J-Hope won, so here’s the oneshot!
Also, I haven't written a story here in a while (nor have I written any at all anywhere in a while). Last "story" I made was All Planned and that was literally a year ago. Looking back at the stories I have posted, I honestly don't know what I was thinking. Anyways, so I started to make posters/graphics and started a shop, blah blah blah. I improved my writing skills and I'm back as a writer! Hope you all will support me and start out fresh with me. Consider this my official start as a writer lol, so don't expect anything grand.
