Most people wouldn't forget, but Luhan couldn't remember. After 3 years, Xiumin had started to fade from his memory even if he couldn't let him go.

p.s. -- minseok would want you to live and stop looming over him. its sad yes but you need to pull yourself out of it, it isnt healthy, mostly after years. as long as you remember minseok then it's alright, just dont do THAT i swear ;A;
