14. You're so Strange

            Taking this as a sign, Hong Bin’s kiss deepened. Nibbling on your bottom lip, he asked for entrance to your mouth.

            You open your mouth willingly, drowning in the sensation. It’s amazing how good he smells, his own body scent mixed with the smell of your body gel and shampoo. As if lemon was dipped in a pool of flowers, the smell is clouding your judgment.

            The kiss was slow and emotional, as if Hong Bin wanted to release all of his negative energy. Every touch his lips created sent shivers down your spin, and you moaned uncontrollably. It was always like this, one kiss and you would lose your mind with Hong Bin.

            Just as your mind slowly decides it wouldn’t be a bad idea to continue this, you feel the soft pump lips pull back.

            Almost pouting, you look at him questioningly.

            “I – ” His lips were red from the kiss, and his cheeks glowing a with a rosy colour. “I think we should stop, I don't want this to be one of your hook up sessions,”

            “What?” What a way to kill the mood.

             Hong Bin brings his fingers to your face, brushing your hair to the back of your ear. He looks at you sadly, “You don’t have to hide it, I know you have people coming over to your house often. I just hope that what we are doing now is not one of them,”

            Was he accusing you of hooking up with people?

            He smiles bitterly. “I am not stupid - ”

            “I don't sleep around, if that’s what you’re saying,” You stop his words.

             “Hey, I get that you have needs sometimes –”

            You feel your anger rising. You untangle yourself from him. “How dare you say that? You know very well that you were my first,”

            “Yes, you don't have to remind me that,” he snapped, but then noticing your offended face, his expression softened. “I mean, I don't know if that has changed in the past few weeks that we didn’t mean,”

            You couldn’t believe this guy. One moment he was all soft and sad and needed comfort, and now suddenly he was accusing you of sleeping around? “I didn’t sleep around, okay? You were the only one I ever had,”

            He rolls his eyes. “You don’t have to keep the act up.” Hong Bin was getting annoyed at your seemingly dishonesty. “I know you girls have to keep up the pure imagery and all that –“

            “I said I didn’t sleep around!”

            “Then explain the clothes!”

            You blink twice. What was he talking about? “What clothes?”

            “I may not look smart but I’m not that thick!” Hong Bin’s face flushed with fury, his voice deep in anger.  “Any guy would question your ual life if you lived alone and had guy pajamas, clean underwear stashed in your apartment!”

            He continued at your blank face. “Look, it’s okay if that's how it is, and I don't care if you are, my body is still attracted to yours, but I just didn’t want this to be one of those sessions –“

            “The pajama pants are my brothers’. He left them here last time he was staying with me, and the clean unopened pack of underwear were also his.”

            Hong bin’s eyes blinked twice.

            “Oh.”

            “Yep.”

            Silence. Hong Bin’s face blushed in a deeper shade of red in embarrassment. Did he just yell at you for something you didn’t do?

            Wanting to ease the awkwardness, he blurts out without thinking, “so uh, you didn’t at all?”

            “No. It was and has always been only you.”

            He swallows hard. Hong Bin knows he should feel sorry for what he just did, but strangely he felt a feeling of relief. Controlling his emotions, he set about apologizing, “look, I’m really sorry for –”

            “Cut it. Just kiss me.”

            He was shocked by your response for a moment, but he quickly recovered. Pulling you back into a kiss, he couldn’t help but feel amazed by you. You were probably the strangest girl he’s ever encountered, he decided finally, letting out a low chuckle.

            “What?” You groan against his lips, not wanting to stop.

            “Nothing,” you feel his hands roaming the small of your back, the sensation traveling to your body. It was like a gentle backrub, one that you would give to a cat. Hong Bin pulls back smiling, and looks into your eyes, with a gaze that could melt snow. “You’re so strange,” He says.

            You stare back for a moment, not sure what to respond. “I don’t care –” You began, but were cut off by his kiss.

            “I don't mind either.”
