"hey little thing, look! that's a comet."

chan-yeol looked at the tail of ice and dust shoot across the dark veil of night with his beadlike eyes.

"humans make wishes when they see it.

i've never seen one, but i've heard it really makes your wishes come true."

chan-yeol watched as wufan closed his really beautiful eyes,

heart dampening a little to see the brightest star of the night disappear.

"shall we?"

a smile tugged at wufan's lips as he brought his palms together for a wish.

chan-yeol let his eyelids droop.

these days he feels tired. like really tired.

he'd never felt like this before, not even when he had returned from scavenging for food.

he thinks he knows why he's like this.

he makes a wish.
