The Neighbors

Description

Jung Haru and Song Mina are known to be the most luckiest roommates in the building, which really only consist of at least 12 occupied apartments. Their neighbors, being five young men, were popular among the town. At least due to either their looks, talents, or kindness. Little did most know, living with these so called charming neighbors were chaotic for the two girls. At the age of 22, they are afraid of growing wrinkles and white hair at such a young age. Jiyong (23), Youngbae (23), Seunghyun (24), Seungri (21), and Daesung (22) may have been the worse neighbors of all time. But hey at least Daesung and Seungri are manageable, try dealing with the three older hyungs.

Foreword

It may have been the worse day of her life. Well, exaggerating maybe, but it is still one of the hectic days of her life.

Morning wasn't so swell for she and her roommate slept late and woke up late as well. Meaning no breakfast nor homemade coffee, which is a must for her. And who's fault was this? Her next door neighbor! It was freaking insane how loud he can get in the middle of the night. The audio of his gaming consoles were just annoyingly loud. It was too hard to sleep peacefully!

Nevertheless, there was the run to the bus stop. If she only had a car, everything would have been easier. But, of course, her more sufficient roommate is more in need of the car for she has the better job. And just to her luck, she was five minutes later for her bus. So she had to wait with her upstairs neighbor who was so stuck-up, she wanted to stick a—well, she didn't like him, let's just say. He was only a dancer, who does he think he is?

When she finally got to her bus, she just had to run in a young man's way and the next thing she knew, papers flew everywhere. And to her luck, it was her other next door neighbor as well. Being the nice girl she tried her hardest to be, she had to help him out. So that got the bus driver's blood pressure to rise.

Then, arriving at her first job of the day, after two painfully long classes, she met up with the roommate of the boy with the flying papers. He might have been this sweet angel, but boy was her manager just a witch. She had to go through an embarrassment of having her manager scream at her in front of the delicate man, who happens to be working at her work place for the next three days. The man is tough when it comes to work as well.

If that wasn't bad enough after 8 hours of working her off, she finally made it home, safe and sound. Except her ears weren't safe nor was it welcome to the sounds for long. This time it wasn't the gamer's fault. But that one man that lives just right downstairs. The ness just somehow made it through his ceiling to her ground and then echoing in her apartment. She had to sleep through this as well!

Just kill me already!

Jung Haru's everyday life.

While on the other hand, Song Mina was in a state of falling asleep with her personal pictures of cupcakes and cakes she baked earlier in the day, laying across her floor. When suddenly her chest started thumping by the feeling of the bass dropping every five seconds. Sighing in frustration, she looked up and cursed the day her neighbor decided to dance. Why is it that this boy had to have his speakers so loud that it keeps his neighbors up all night?

Soon enough, after the dancer decided it was time to rest, so did her body and mind. Not until hours later when she could hear the loud cheers of the gamer boy, which happens to be all the way to the other side of the apartment, more specifically next to Haru's room. By now, she heard her friend cursing the world as she stomped around, yelling that she's gonna be late.

Two hours later of the day, it was quiet once more and it was the signal that she had to go to work soon. In her casual outfit, she went out with her cup of coffee only to have it knocked off of her hand and the warm beverage all over her white tee. Gamer boy came to ruin her life once again. And it wasn't even on purpose.

After their small apology and forgiving talk, she went down the stairs, due to having the elevator broken and they were only three stories up the floor, she rehearsed her schedule for the day. Not even a minute later when she felt the same feeling of coffee pouring down her shirt once again. This time it was the beautiful man downstairs who was at fault, along with his coffee.

At least for the rest of the day, she was at peace, unlike her very unlucky friend, although hypothetically being a hypocrite, was having one of her worst days. She baked and took pictures. Everything was going peaceful as it is. Until that is, the dancer's soda spilled all over her lap the moment she took her first step in the lobby after hours and hours of working.
