"I decided you'd go well with Hyunsuk's nephew. Don't you think?" He took a sip from his coffee.

"Hyunsuk's nephew?" Yang Hyunsuk was the guy my father is talking about. Currently he owns the leading companies in Korea, like YG, Kwon, and Green Corporations. Basically, he's the richest guy next to my father and they are the closest of friends. More than business partners, Bestfriend if you would.

"Yes. Kwon Jiyong, the current CEO of YG enterprises and Kwon Industries. Yang's very great nephew." Suddenly i remembered that Hyunsuk never really had a son, only a daughter about 20 years younger than me.

"Dad! I don't even know the guy, I can't possibly marry him. He might not even like me." True.

"No. You can't change my mind about this. Kwon is a good catch, you're good together." Dad opened the newspaper and started reading it.

"And why is that?"

"Because he'll definately make you happy and a better person than you already are."

"So you're doing this to change me? Dad! This isn't right. Mom would never want this for me."

"Yes she would. She was the one who signed the contract afterall." I groaned. I can't win this conversation. I just know it.

I sighed. "What would I do to make you change your mind Dad?" It was kind of a whisper to myself, but my father still heard it.

He smiled, the kind of smile that was rare for me to see. "You can prove me wrong. But i doubt it."

Ofcourse he would doubt it, the only person that proved my father wrong was mom, and now that she's gone. It was gonna be a hard mission to accomplish.

"Fine, I'll prove you wrong dad. No matter how long it takes." I wiped my mouth even though I didn't eat a single thing and stood up.

"No, you can't take forever darling. The wedding's gonna be held in a year." Dad added.

I let out another sighed and continued walking to the door. "Have a great day honey!" I heard my Dad shout as I rode my car.

Marriage, something i thought I'd think about when I'm 29 or something. Or when I atleast have a stable relationship with soemone I'd want to marry. But no, my father have proved me wrong again. Now I'm getting married in a year, worst case scenario to a complete stranger.

Without realizing it i drove myself to the cementery and my feet walked me to my mom's grave.

I stared at the marble where her name was written, Park JiYoung

I let out a sigh. "Hi Mom." I greeted as I sat beside her grave.

"Did you seriously want me to marry that guy? Did you even get to know him? Like have you met him? Do you really think it would be best for me to marry a stranger? Mom... I miss you... Although a part of me doesn't want to get married, somehow when i found out this is what you wanted, i kind of felt i wanted it too. So I'm going for it." I stood up.

"If I can't prove Dad wrong." I smiled and walked away.

No matter what, I'm proving my Dad wrong.
