You slowly made your way to the front. He saw you and began walking towards you. Both of your hearts were beating.

He could tell fromt he look of your face, that you were worried.

He grabbed your shoulders and bent down a little, so that he was at eye level with you. "It'll be ok. Don't be nervous." You unconvincingly nodded your head.

He grabbed you by the hands and started to lead you up towards the stage. He whispered so that you could only hear. "As your boyfriend, I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you." He gave you a hopeful smile.

You looked up at him, with your heart racing. He smiled back at you. You felt better now. You held onto his hand tightly.

As both of you were in the center of the stage now, he announced for everyone to hear. You shyed your face from the cameras taking pictures. He held onto your hand tighter.

"Everyone, this is my girlfriend ____. Please take good care of us." He bowed his to the crowd. You did the same.
