To throw me aside as though I was nothing?

Was it easy?

To say I no longer mean anything?

Was it easy?

To walk away from me without even saying goodbye?

Was it easy?

To pretend you heard nothing even though you could hear me cry?

Was it easy?

To walk by me each day and never look my way?

Was it easy?

To act as though I no longer exist in your eyes?

Was it easy?

To see the one you used to love, hurting because of you?

Was it easy?

To know that you were once the reason I was happy,

But now you’re the reason to my never-ending misery?

Was it easy?

Because let me simply say,

It wasn’t easy for me at all,

And it still isn’t today...
