Seeing Blue [hiatus]
Description
Everyone says that sirens and mermaids are the same, but in actuality they are not.
Sirens chase after mortality, hoping to one day become a human being.
Mermaids chase after mortality, hoping to fall in love with a human being.
How is that any different?
Sirens eat the hearts of humans to obtain mortality.
Mermaids don't.
Sirens lured their victims into a hypnotizing trance and towards their tragedies.
Mermaids aid the kindhearted ones discreetly towards their own wishes and dreams.
Unfortunately, in the eye of a human, both races look the same.
On land each form a pair of legs, have luscious hair, dry hands that feel a bit scaly, and bleed blue.
Yes, blue.
So how to tell a siren from a mermaid?
The way they sound.
Because a siren's song is more deadly than a mermaid's lullaby.
Although both have vocals that are alluring, only one of the two will save you as the other destroys you.
Just make sure to listen carefully.
Because...
If you help a siren, then your soul is condemned.
If you help a mermaid, then your wish is granted.
Foreword
oh why hello again! yes... it's another story idea. i just couldn't stop you know. there's just so many running in my head, and so i'm just putting it on something a little more concrete isntead of floating in my head and may disappear later. lol anyways, i was inspired to do this kind of story because i read a story on SOOMPI, and i realize that not many stories involve well... mermaids/sirens. lol except a small mentioning of them, or something like that. so yeah... i will try my best to do it so well, or something like that, and make it my own. i wanna add in my own twist since it is fiction and draw away from the typical mermaid/siren stories. lol or... at least try to that is. hahaha. so yeah~ =] enjoy whenever i get around to it!
